                      NATHAN EXPLOSION.
          

          he was a bit confused when he was pushed away, but, froze when pickles sat on him. "uh... uhm. uhh yeah." he said, giving him a thumbs up. even when pickles was more assertive with the romance, trying to teach nathan, he still was just...awkward.
                    he could feel his heart beating out of his chest almost, patting pickles' back gently. but, he had a lot of cushion on his chest, so, pickles was probably the most comfortable one in this situation. not that nathan was uncomfortable, but, he just... didn't know what to do.
          "so uh.. uhm.. what now?" he asked, looking down at pickles for a moment.

leaning back, pickles lets out a hum. nathan's chest is actually
pretty comfortable. and it's warm. really warm. that's
to be expected, though. the man is practically a walking space
heater. after nathan asks another question, pickles glances up.
he shrugs, thinking for a moment. "well, for one, we could get
you to loosen up a bit." he comments, patting him on the leg.
"but we could also watch a movie, write some songs... or, babe,
we could just sit here. up to you, really." he chuckles a bit, eyes
trained onto nathan, waiting to see his reaction to the petname.

                      NATHAN EXPLOSION.
          

          after hearing the pet name, his face was redder than before somehow. he thought for a second, hair falling over his face a bit. “i. would like to. sit here.” he spoke, taking small pauses in between his words, looking down at pickles. he slowly wrapped his arms around pickles, awkwardly just… resting his chin on top of pickles head, trying his best to show affection.
          he liked the pet name pickles called him, half of him wanting pickles to call him that more, and another part of him feeling embarrassed of it, for some reason. then it hit him. oh no. what would murderface think.. the poor dude was like, the fifth wheel now. “i just realized that murderface is gonna be like. the fifth wheel, heh.” he said, chuckling a bit as he just sat there hugging his new boyfriend a bit too hard..

oh. yeah. murderface is probably gonna be super upset now. he just
laughs, shrugging. "oh, yeah. murderface is... definitely gonna be
upset. hehe." honestly, he was more excited about telling
murderface than nervous. however that goes, it's guaranteed to
be hilarious. feeling nathan bend down, resting his chin on top
of his head, he smiles. he's already learning. how cute. as they keep
sitting there, though, pickles can feel his arms gradually start to
tighten. he didn't want to say anything, trying to avoid embarrassing
the poor guy, but he has to speak up once it starts actively hurting him.
tapping his arm, he tries to catch his attention. "hey babe, i know you
like hugging me nice and tight but... this is a bit too tight." he
coughs a bit, trying to loosen his boyfriend's arms that are wrapped around
his torso a bit.

          he laughed at that, imagining how angry poor murder face would be. “yeah. i feel a bit bad though, yknow. i know id be angry if i was fifth wheeling..” he spoke, raising a brow.
                    but, after hearing pickles’ request, he loosened his grip, looking away slightly. “oh, yeah. sorry uh..babe.” he said, continuing to hug pickles, just less tight. “maybe one day you’ll be able to handle my hugs.” he said, chuckling as he rubbed his back, staring at pickles.
          he really liked this moment. holding onto his boyfriend, the only sounds that could be heard was the rain outside..and not to mention, nathan was extremely warm, so, pickles must be having the time of his life.

pickles thinks for a moment before speaking up. "eh,
well, maybe we could try to set him up with someone.
ya know?" he wasn't sure if it was the BEST plan, but.
it was the best he could come up with right now. as they
sit there, listening to the rain, pickles can practically feel
himself grow more and more relaxed. he gets distracted,
though, once a sudden question pops into his head.
"hey, nate. are we still gonna sleep in separate rooms?
or do you wanna like.. share one room?" he looks up,
holding his hands up and pushing them together, emphasizing
his point.

                      NATHAN EXPLOSION.
          

          he raised a brow at pickles, scoffing. "yeah that'd go well.. hopefully he doesn't make a fool of himself." he spoke, voice getting quieter as he just relaxed, listening to the rain with pickles. he perked up slightly when pickles asked his question, blinking.
                    "we could share one room." he replied, smiling a bit. he usually hated sharing rooms with people, but, for pickles, he'd compromise. good luck to pickles.. nathan was a blanket hog, and also acted like a bratty teen in the mornings when he doesn't wanna get up.
          "..does toki and skwisgaar even sleep in the same room? heh, i doubt poor skwisgaar could handle spending every uh. night with toki." he mumbled, snickering. "not that toki sucks but.. the dude has my little pony coloring books in his room.." he continued, chuckling.

pickles chuckles, shrugging. "well, it's murderface, he obviously will.
but we just gotta find someone who thinks it's... charming." he knows
none of this will be easy; you could search for YEARS and not find a single
person who would describe the bassist as charming. still, it's worth a shot,
right? hearing nathan mention toki and skwisgaar, he shakes his head.
"oh, no way do they share a room. did you see how awkward they
were that first day? ain't no way in hell they know what they're doing."

          he laughed at that. no one would find murderface charming, unless they love being insulted constantly.. "yeah.. good luck with that." he sighed, staring down at pickles.
                    "yeah they were pretty awkward. and y'know i thought i was uh. awkward." he spoke, rolling his eyes. "but i don't think either of them have ever dated anyone." he spoke, smirking.
          "but uh.. do you think skwisgaar's still gonna see those ladies?" he asked, raising a brow. he hoped skwisgaar wouldn't do something like that, but, nathan didn't know what to expect from the blonde. he was unpredictable.

pickles snorts, looking up at nathan, deciding to tease him just a tiny
bit. "oh, you're still real awkward. but, that's what you've got me for!"
he pauses for a moment before turning towards nathan, shifting his legs. he's
directly facing nathan now, legs tucked underneath himself. leaning forward,
he presses a quick kiss to his nose. "besides, it's cute anyways. so i don't mind."
he chuckles a bit, watching nathan slowly start blushing again. pickles frowns as
the vocalist mentions skwisgaar, shaking his head. "i don't think so. he may be full of
himself, but he's not that mean. at least.. i hope he's not." if skwisgaar DOES end
up hurting toki, he knows one thing; he'll have to deal with the two of them.
