The gentle and kind but wild and loud one laughed a little. The pretty, slender and long legged black one said "Its fine. It's nice to have someone else to talk to again. I came from my parents territory, not that we had a pack. It was just them, me, and my younger sister. They wouldn't let me leave when I was a year old, obviously. Last year, they finally let me go because I was so stubborn. I wouldn't give up telling them I wanted to go. They finally agreed to let me out on my own. My sister was six months old when I left, so she's a year and half now."

The sweet and gentle but shy and nervous brown eyed she wolf nodded. The pretty red she wolf said "I guess that makes sense. Stay away from it if it's foaming." She then nodded and said "Livers are weird...Oh, I do eat berries by the way, but there's these weird red ones. I think they're red...those are supposedly poisonous. They're singular round bright red berries. And of course the brightly colored mushrooms, or red mushrooms or whatever. Those are supposed to be poisonous. I've never actually eaten a mushroom though...cause they're weird. They look so weird, don't they? I don't know if I'd like the taste."

The friendly and helpful wolf smiled at the pup. The bright blue eyed one began to walk along then. The long legged slender golden wolf made sure she was following. Soll then continued to lead the way, away from the den.

The playful and happy pup yipped happily again. The blue eyed brown pup even wagged her t7ail again. She then quickly hurried after the long legged one, trying hard to keep up. She so adored the wolf that had found her and taken her in.

Snowfall jumped at the sound of the voice, her eyes wided she looked around panicked. That wolf is young to be one their own, that means...! "I.... ummmm" she says shyly, she began to shake and hide her paw "r-are you a alone?" She asks cautiously

"Oh? If you had a good family and a nice territory you guys claimed, then I have to wonder. Why did you want to leave in the first place? Family is a good thing to have close by." Sure, Kade understood the desire for independence, but straight up walking out on the family that had raised him? That felt wrong. He wouldn’t have done it personally if he had the chance.

I told them if I find a pack I'd come back. Which I haven't found one yet...Have you come upon any?" he asked the other male.

(Okay, the father is definitely dead but of course Kyuen doesn't know. I'm going to put the mom and sister in though, I think)

"What, a pack? You think if I’d seen a pack around, I’d still be wandering around here on my own?" Kade was more than just a little social, he needed company. If he’d seen a pack around, he would’ve gone out of his way in order to join. "Nah. I caught the scent of some other wolves in the area, but not a TON of them. Not nearly enough for them to be a full pack, and I haven’t actually SEEN anyone aside from you."

Kass stiffened her narrow shoulders. The young black she-wolf lifted her head and sniffed the crisp air. If nothing else, she’d always made a fine huntress, with her keen, tuned sense of smell. She liked to think she was a decent tracker. "This way seems most promising." She nodded off towards the left, which would lead deeper into the thick of the forest. "We can probably find something hiding in there."

Kazill was too big and bulky to offer much support, so Ryder, slightly smaller and LESS bulky, closer to the she-wolf's height, pressed close. "Feel free to lean on me if you need. We'll take it at your pace. There’s nowhere to be in a hurry if you need to take it slow," he promised. There was still plenty of daylight, and the prey wouldn’t run and hide if it took them a couple extra minutes to get around.

"Yeah, just me, myself, and I!" Micah chirped, awful cheerful for someone who had been travelling alone for who knew how long? "It’s okay. I’m not going to hurt you, I promise. I don’t hurt pretty wolves." Or any wolves, really, but it was nice to throw that out there. Micah could certainly appreciate the greyish white coat of the lone wolf by the water. "I’m Micah! Call me whatever you want. What’s your name?"

"East, this way." Ryder nodded towards a waiting grove of evergreens ahead. Kazill took the lead while Ryder trailed a bit behind to help Lemi. No good if she ended up collapsing. Even with food in her belly, it would undoubtedly take some time to recover. "We'll show you some of the prey rich areas and you’ll never have to go hungry again."

Ryder may look a bit rough and cold on the surface, he may present himself in such a manner, but he had a good heart underneath, and could acknowledge that no wolf deserved to suffer in such a manner. "We're happy to help," he promised as they made their way into the forest. Already he could pick up the smell and the faint scurrying sounds of mice, voles, and other small game scampering around, either collecting food or clearing a path. "Mostly small game here, but just one or two wolves can’t exactly fell a deer or anything as it is."

The comfort of contact simply for the sake of it was something unfamiliar to the brown and white wolf, but not at all in an unpleasant way. "Hah. Better off than me and Kaz then. We're big wolves, we need more food." He paused. "What now? I don’t think anyone has any claim here, I haven't noticed any territorial scent marks. Are you going to travel on your own? Do you have someone we can get to come stay with you?"
