xxxganyu applied cryo to the oncoming enemies, some diving into pools of water that magically appeared out of nowhere, making the
enemies frozen. she kept on shooting - long shots, slow shots, fast shots, the
usual. she summoned her alt as icicles crashed down onto the battle field,
once again. it was cold, but she didn't mind it. as long as chongyun was happy
with the battle field.

xxxthe harbinger was surprised. another bow user?! this would be fun. childe grinned. "i knew it would be fun fighting alongside you!"
he chuckled. "so, uh... what do you want to fight? bosses, hillichurls? i'm
alright with whatever you choose - although i'd probably prefer a pyro
regisvine," he said, laughing.

Chongyun took advantage of the frozen reaction, shattering ice with his claymore with clean hits. Wielding the heavy weapon tired him more than the dight, admittedly. He saw his breath curl with every pant in the frosty temperatures. Why were there so many gathering here? At some point, when his field of frost wore off, he retreated to stay closer to the other cryo user.

Venti raised his hand to his chin in thought, "Those things are all the way in Liyue...Sure, why not?" He balanced the pros and cons mentally. On the one hand, he was sure his element would just spread the fiery embers and scorch the ground far out. On the other hand, he could keep his winds in a controlled point and Tartaglia could extinguish it if it did get a bit out of hand..plus he hadn't been to Liyue in a while.

xxxganyu stayed side-by-side with her ally. "how many are there?!" she asked, whilst shooting the enemies with her bow. "they're diminishing!"
she gasped. "we're killing them!" they were both a good duo. although,
hydro and cryo would've been a better combo because of the frozen
effect. no matter! thought ganyu, releasing a charged bow hit,
knocking an enemy into the pools of the melted frost.

xxxthe ginger-haired tall harbinger nodded. "alright! we can glide there," he nodded. maybe we'll find chongyun... or ganyu! he thought.
"yeah? liyue it is then," childe confirmed, grinning. he secured his
bow onto his back, stroking it before he did it. "lets go!" he
exclaimed.

The exorcist summoned his spirit blades to come crashing down on the remaining opponents, he didn't want to swing bis claymore while he was this close to his ally. The compressed ice blades were cooling, enough to feel a flush of chilly wind in their direction from the impact. He briefly looked over the area in front of him, they were surely going down in numbers. "I see a pyro barrel on this side. I can put down a cryo field so it melts if you can hit it from here."

It seemed that Venti was already raring to go, running down the steps and drifting out the gate, turning back as he did to wave to him. "Try to keep up, ehe~" He laughed cheerfully, winking playfully as he stuck his tongue out, then turned round again. The bow transformed back into the lyre that seemed to disappear altogether.

xxxganyu nodded. "i think i can do that!" she said, as she began to shoot the barrel. "you might want to stand back..." she warned, as the pyro
barrel exploded, almost melting the whole battlefield and setting
grass on fire, rapidly.

xxxchilde rolled his eyes, whilst grinning. he ran in the direction venti was going in. "i'm catching up!" he shouted, running behind venti. childe's
eyes glimmered with joy as he ran along side the bard. he panted
quietly, grabbing his bow behind him and clutching it, not wanting
it to be stolen by these mondstadt folks.

Chongyun stayed clear of the explosion, both for his safety and to avoid getting too hot. The last thing he wanted was to be incapable of helping because he lost control of his tang energy. He quickly put down another ice field, weapon infused with cryo as he swiftly moved in motion of his claymore. One strike left, one strike right, round once and over. It was best for him to follow the momentum, the less effort needed to strike, the less quick he'd get tired.

Venti took a sharp right turn onto the path after the bridge, snatching a sunsettia on a nearby tree. The wind on hia face was refreshing - he felt free and lively. It was a reminder to live each day to the fullest. "Oh? You must be quite agile then." He smiled, somewhat impressed - then again the harbinger was taller which probably gave him an advantage over the bard's smaller figure. He could always cheat - a bit of anemo manipulation and he'd be out of sight..but the bard was lazy and didn't feel like it.

xxxganyu grinned. she summoned her alt and the ice shards crashed onto the remaining enemies. "i think... that's it!" she cried in joy, as the
last of the hillichurls and the slimes disappeared. a cold breeze
tickled her neck, which made her feel calm.

xxxthe harbinger kept on running, grabbing a sunsettia like venti did. he stored in in a pocket, grinning. "i'm catching up!" exclaimed childe.
he ran a bit in front of venti, the wind brushing his face and made
him feel refreshed. this is nice, i like this, thought childe.

[Chongyun]

Chongyun let out a deep breath of relief, he was glad that was over with. He took the time to recover his breath and still the warmth that threatened to surface. His eyes fluttered closed to appreciate the sound of the grass swaying and the cackling ice slowly melting away the evidence of battle. He could reflect now, calmly examining his weapon for any repairs needed before putting it away safely on his back. "You're truly impressive with the bow, Miss Ganyu." Seeing the Secretary in battle was a nice surprise. She looked like a completely different persona when faced with potential danger. Yet even in the heat of battle, she still looked composed as ever. He respected that.

Venti was having fun, it's not everyday he had someone to spend time with. Well, unless he counted Diluc at the tavern - still! He was sure it'd been along time since he ran with someone for leisure. It was rather pleasant and he enjoyed every second of his freestyle life. "Hahaha! Not if I can help it!" He chimed, breaking into a full sprint as he bit into the sunsettia he managed to pick earlier. It was considerably sweeter than a ripe apple, and much softer in texture. At some point, the bard ran with his eyes closed, listening into the sounds of the natural world, feeling at one with the wind itself. Just like all those years ago...He felt at peace.

xxx"thank you... chongyun," ganyu smiled. her face had turned bright red. the breeze cooled down her face. "i'll have to admit... i
haven't fought so much in a while," she smiled and rubbed the back
of her neck nervously. "but your claymore skills have improved greatly!
well done," she patted chongyun's back, eyes glimmering.

xxxchilde kept on running, as he kept on venti's tail. the harbinger ran as fast as he could, saluting to venti as he passed him. he grinned.
"i'm far ahead!" childe shouted, sing-songily, but he slowed down to
let venti take the lead. "i do not know where liyue is," he admitted.

"Really? I never would have know, you're very good" The blue hair male pulled a small smile after an expression of surprise, to show he appreciated her kind words. "Thanks. I'm happy to hear that, but there's always things to improve on so I'll do my best to keep training." He straightened up, feeling a bit more proud of himself and a little more confident. It did feel like a good workout session. His body wasn't aching from any sprains either, so he must've been getting better and handling the weight of his claymore for longer.

Venti stopped all together, letting his cape flow around him and sway with the gentle breeze. He took a moment to determine where they were and then decided to go down a different path. "Hmm...Alright, this way!" The bard kept referring to the mental map in his head, go down via the dawn winery, passed Wangshu Inn, take the righthand path down towards Cujue Slope and head south to Tianqiu Valley. At least that's where he remembered a pyro regisvine to be. There certainly wasn't one in Mondstadt's surroundings. He decided to walk for now, just to catch his breath and make sure he wasn't missing any crucial landmarks.
