Alex leads the way to the rainbow bridge district. "I understand love, thankfully you will never have to feel that heartache again. They will never die, or leave you again." They reach the bridge which leads to a giant grassy area on the other side, with a few buildings to house the animals.

She looks up to him, pausing just a minute to search his handsome facial features. "You're so sweet." She finally says, feeling more grateful than ever to have him. It was so nice to feel... seen and understood. Auna gives his hand a squeeze, looking across to the grassy area beyond the bridge. It really looked like heaven. "woah..." looking back up to him she smiles. "It's so beautiful."

Alex smiled and led her to the check-in desk. "Hello, Jannie! I was wondering if you could help my wife Auna look for her lost pets?" The check-in lady nodded and then turned to Auna, "Can I get the name of your pets?"

Auna smiled warmly, at his words. Wife... she'd have to grow used to that word. It made her feel all warm and fuzzy. "Thank you Jannie. And yeah," she says, nodding. "..there's Roonie and Littlefoot.." she says and pauses, trying to think. "I had another dog when I was really little. His name was Blu."

Jannie smiled as she pulled a tablet out from under the desk and typed in the names. She pushed a button on the intercom, "Leah can you please grab Blu, Roonie, and Littlefoot? Let them know that Auna is here." She smiled and turned to Auna. "They shall be here soon." Jannie turned to Alex, "Ella has been looking for you, are you ready to take her home yet?"

Auna smiles, her foot tapping with extra excitement. At the question from Jannie, Aunna turns to look up at Alex, her eyebrows furrowing. "Who's Ella...?" She asks curiously. Hadn't he said he didn't have time for pets? She gives his hand a reassuring squeeze, hoping that he was alright.

Alex smiled, "Ella is an alley cat that I came to visit frequently when I first passed away. She and I became companions but I never took her home because I was worried that someone would be looking for her. I didn't know she was a stray until just before you gave me the ring." He smiled softly. "I haven't gotten a chance to get her yet

Her eyes widen a little as she listens to his explanation, and her gaze softens. "Aww that's so sweet... do you want to bring her home with us?" She asks gently, raising an eyebrow. "It sounds like she's been yours longer than you knew." She hums softly at that, her heart feeling warm and fuzzy at the thought of this alley cat being Alex's first pet

Alex grinned. "I would love that. Are you sure you're okay with it?" he asked as Jannie once again pushed the button on the intercom asking for Leah to grab Ella from the cat house, as someone had come to take her to her eternal home.

Seeing his grin only made her smile widen and Auna nods enthusiastically. "I'm more than okay with that" she hums and lifts his hand to place a little kiss on his knuckles. "It's like our own little family now, and Ella has her very own place with us."
