Jacob smiled and stood throwing his trash out. “I trust you. I am sure it will be fine. I am not worried about it. But it will be fun to get to work together. I am sure you will get a part. You are really good.” He said and walked out with her heading to her house. “I am sure your family will be so proud of you.” He said with a smile. He was really only close to his dad but it was so nice to have him. He looked at Nicole. “So what do you normally do around here?” He asked. “Other than the park with your pup.” He said with a smile. “I will be around a while so I need ideas.” He said.

They started making their way towards Nicole's house, she appreciated that Jacob seemed to want to spend time with her, in some capacity. "I honestly don't do a whole lot." She shrugged casually "I mean I jog sometimes, I do the community theater stuff in the next town over. I really need to get out of my house more." She chuckled softly. "My parents and older sister are great, they're all super supportive of me and what I wanna do." She smiled thinking of how both sets of parents came to every opening night show, and her older sister had come to every closing night show for prank night.

“I see. Well, maybe I will have to hang out with you more while I am around to do fun things. I like hanging out with you so far. You are pretty fun.” He said. “Plus, you aren’t freaking out that I am with you so that is really nice. It makes me feel normal. I like that.” He said to her. He smiled as she spoke of her family. “That is amazing. I am glad your family is supportive. My dad is super supportive of me too. My mom doesn’t really talk to me though. But I am glad that I have my dad. He is back in LA right now but we still talk a lot.” He said. He looked around as he walked. He kind of liked the idea of living in a small town. This place seemed so nice.

Nicole smiled at him enjoying hanging out with her, "I'm having a nice time hanging out with you too. I mean, you are just a normal guy, just maybe a bit more well-known than others." She was happy she was able to keep her outward expression from showing how excited she was. Internally she was doing backflips and dancing around in circles. She wrinkled her nose at Jacob's mom not talking to him. "Well you're more than welcome to borrow one of my moms if needed." She joked with him. She was thankful that she had a large loving family, she recognized that others weren't as lucky. Apparently famous people had family drama too.

“I appreciate that. It is nice being around someone who thinks like that. Most don’t.” He said. He chuckled when she said he could borrow one of hers. “That is very kind thank you. Luckily my dad is very supportive and I am lucky to have him. Maybe I will get to meet your family someday when we are in the play together. I am sure you will get a good part in it. You are really good at acting.” He said to her. He looked around as he walked. “This is so nice. I really am enjoying your little town. It is a lot quieter than LA.” He said. “Sometimes it is good to get away from it. Do you travel much?” He asked.

Nicole let out a soft amused sigh. "I promise you will meet them, no matter what part I get in the play they will come to see it." She smiled at Jacob and thanked him for his compliment on her acting. "I used to travel a lot when I was younger, not so much now. My family has a hard time lining up everybody's schedules so that it works out. I've gone on a couple of road trips with my sister since graduating high school, mostly just to neighboring states for concerts of bands we enjoyed."

Jacob smiled. “Great. I am really glad I will meet them. I like to meet new people.” He said to her and relaxed. “One of the best parts of the job.” He said. “That is really cool you traveled a lot as a kid. When you are famous, you will go everywhere. It will be fun. I love traveling. I am rarely at my apartment actually.” He said with a smile. He looked as they got to her house. “You have a nice place.” He said to her. He looked around. It was bigger than his apartment anyway. He looked at his phone as he got a notification. He looked at it. It was on Instagram. He commented on the picture of him and Alissa at the directors table. “Cute.” Was all he wrote. He decided to follow Nicole while he was on it so he did and then put his phone back in his pocket.

Nicole smiled at the thought of Jacob meeting her parents. "Well be prepared, my stepmom is a hugger, so she will try to hug you." She laughed thinking of her bonus mom who insisted on hugging everyone every time she saw them. "I appreciate you saying when I sometimes feel like an IF for getting famous. then again, that's not my goal. Well not entirely." She smiled as she pulled out her house key and unlocked the door stepping inside. At the sound of the front door opening S'more bounded down the hallway from Nicole's bedroom and ran right up to Jacob completely ignoring Nicole. She laughed as S'more jumped up onto Jacobs's legs trying to lick his fingers. She took his distraction for a moment as an opportunity to check her phone that had buzzed in her back pocket. It was yet another notification from Instagram, this one was a follow, from Jacob. She smiled as she accepted his follow request and slipped her phone into her back pocket. She shrugged her bag off of her shoulder. She pointed to the couch "Feel free to take a seat! I'm going to run to my room and get ready super quickly!"

Jacob laughed. “I am okay with that. Good to know though.” He said and walked with her. He smiled and headed in with her. “Hello S’more.” He said laughing. He picked the pup up gently walking over to the couch. “Thank you Nicole. I will just hang out here with your pup.” He said with a smile. He petted S’more enjoying spending time with a dog. He had always loved dogs. He moved to the floor when he found a rope and gently played with the pup. He smiled really enjoying this. It was fun to get a chance to relax like this for a while. He waited for her not pushing her to hurry or anything. He let her take her time getting ready to go.

Nicole rushed down the hall into her bedroom shutting the door behind her. She was quiet as she did her little excited happy dance about all the good things that had happened to her today. She definitely would have good stuff to journal about later tonight. After taking a few deep breaths to calm down, Nicole rushed to her closet looking for clean clothes to wear. She let out an annoyed huff when she realized that she hadn't done her laundry yet this week, and her only clean shirt was a t-shirt with Jacob's face on it from his movie Night Gaurd. She just rolled her eyes and threw it on as well as a pair of ripped skinny jeans. She looked at herself in the mirror and grabbed a lightweight zip-up jacket and pulling it on so that she could hide the shirt as best as she could. She quickly brushed through her hair before throwing it up into a messy ponytail where some of her shorter front layers were framing her face. She rushed to put some mascara and eyeliner on so that she looked a little less dead in her mind. She grabbed a tube of chapstick from her large hoard, that had its own drawer in the vanity. She pulled on some socks and shoes before sending Jannie a quick text that she was on her way with a contract that she needed to be signed. The agent had already signed Nicole a few months prior thankfully, but with other clients, Jannie hadn't had a lot of time to work with Nicole. After sending her a text and getting the okay from Jannie Nicole rejoined Jacob in the living room holding Smore's harness and leash. "Ready to go?"
