Henry smiled. “Great. Well, I will get the writers to write it in and have it done in a couple of days. So by end of week would be best.” Henry said to her. “So three days. The movie business moves fast and I need time to find a replacement if you won’t take it.” Henry said. He stood. “We are done here. I will call all of you within the next week to tell you of your role.” He said to them. “As for you three. Lunch on me?” He asked them. It would give him a chance to talk to her more and get things set. Jacob shrugged. “Sure.” He said. Alissa shook her head. “I have a modeling thing so I have to go. But have fun Jakie.” She said and kissed his cheek and left. Jacob winced ever so slightly at the nickname. He didn’t like when she called him that. “Right well. Have a good modeling thing.” He said to her as she left. He looked at Nicole. “Well, since you are local, what are the best places to eat?” He asked her with a smile. He had recovered from the Alissa thing.

Nicole turned and waved goodbye to the few people from the group that she knew. Turning back to Henry, Jacob, and Alissa she accepted Henry's offer for lunch. "I think I can swing by her house tonight to drop any paperwork off, but I'll sign just about anything." She laughed softly at the end of her sentence. After hearing Alissa call Jacob "Jakie" Nicole almost physically cringed. She couldn't help the wrinkle in her nose as she looked at Alissa. She had no problem with Alissa or her acting, she just found the term "Jakie" to be a bit of a weird term, especially if Jacob didn't look like he was into it.'Thankfully there are plenty of good places to eat around here, I know a small family-owned sandwich shop a couple of minutes across the park, they bake their own bread and everything!" She thought about the sandwich place, a place she would go after every time she had finished an audition, gotten a role, or finished a project. "In my opinion, it is one of the best places in the state."

Jacob had noticed her cringe and couldn’t help but smile. “Odd isn’t it? As long as it doesn’t end up on social media, we pretty much have to let her do what she wants.” Jacob said. Henry nodded. “Yeah. We don’t want another breakdown. That was not fun.” Henry said. Jacob nodded. “Yeah. That was bad. Well sandwich shop sounds great to me. Henry?” Jacob asked. Henry nodded. “Let’s go.” He said with a smile. Jacob nodded. “Alright lead the way.” He said to her with a smile and walked with her. Henry got on the phone to get the contract for her ready to be signed. “No I need it in an hour. In print… no I don’t care that it is too far. You are 20 minutes away. Get it done and I will text the address to bring it to.” Henry said. Jacob smiled. “He is pretty serious about getting you a role. Guess I should get writing.” He said with a laugh.

Nicole couldn't help but laugh at the comments about Alissa's meltdowns. She had heard some rumors online about it but nothing had ever been confirmed, well until now. Nicole led Jacob through the park and towards the sandwich shop. "I'm really grateful that I am getting this opportunity to work with you guys, I know you probably get this a lot, but I am a huge fan of your work." Now she really wished she had stopped by the house before the auditions cause she was getting lunch with Jacob Daughtry. At least her hair had mostly dried. The cool autumn day had brought a breeze with it, to keep her hands from getting cold she shoved them into her hoodie pockets. "Did Alissa really have a meltdown on that one episode of The Dark House?" Probably not the best topic of conversation but Nicole's mind had drawn a blank.

Jacob smiled at her. “Thank you. I am glad that you like my work. I always enjoy having fans. It is part of the job. It is the best though. I do love the fans.” He said to her. He laughed when she asked about the breakdown. “She had multiple during that show so I don’t exactly know the one you are referring to. You mean the one where she threw a hairdryer at my head or the one where she yelled so loud we got complaints from the neighbors?” He asked looking at her. “She isn’t the easiest to work with and she has a giant crush on me that makes things difficult but she is good at what she does.” He said. “It’s the only reason she still gets hired. Everyone in the industry knows what a pain she is but the viewers make it worth it for them. I just do my job and act with her when I have to.” Jacob said. Henry kept talking on the phone. Jacob looked at her. “So do you like ice cream? I found this place last night and it is amazing. Henry doesn’t eat ice cream but I like to treat myself every now and then. It is seriously the best I have ever had.” He said.

Nicole was unable to hold back her laughter at Jacobs's confession that Alissa was in fact difficult to work with. "I knew about the screaming one, but the other one is news to me. Did she really throw a hairdryer at your head?" She laughed again at the mental image of Jacob hiding from an angry Alissa and a hot pink hairdryer. "I wasn't going to say anything about her feelings for you, cause I didn't think it was my place. But then again she's about as subtle about it as a brick through a glass window." She had a moment of thought that her joke might have gone too far, but then Jacob mentioned ice cream and she looked at him and her face lit up. "I love ice cream, I have a major sweet tooth so I am always down for ice cream!"

“Yeah she did. She hit me in the back of my head and we had to delay filming a day because I had to get stitches. So watch out if she gets angry with you. It gets bad fast. I don’t even know what I did to make her mad.” He said with a shrug. He laughed at her joke. He really was enjoying talking to her. “As for her feelings, yeah. I don’t think I could handle being with her. I can barely stand working for her. I try to shut her down with little hints but it doesn’t work. And we kiss a lot in this movie.” He said and rubbed his face. “Oh well. I will get there. I just want to date a girl who is not that crazy.” He said to her. “Glad you like ice cream. We can go there after lunch if you want. It will just be the two of us. Henry won’t go.” He said to her with a smile. He headed inside the sandwich shop with them and Henry hung up the phone. “Alright. Papers should be here by the time we are done with lunch.” Henry said. Jacob looked at him. “You aren’t being cheep are you?” He asked knowing he would know what he meant. “She is new to the scene so a little.” He said. Jacob sighed. “Fix it.” He said. He was good friends with Henry and always had been. Henry nodded and texted something else. They looked at the menu deciding what to get before they ordered. The woman at the counter was completely starstruck seeing Jacob. “They have a lot of sandwiches.” He said.

At hearing about Jacob had to get stitches she did visibly cringe. She was not one for hospitals with her fear of needles and all. "I will try my best not to make her mad, thanks for the heads up." She laughed as they continued walking. "Yeah, I know the feeling of someone wanting you when you're really not interested, it's exhausting." She thought about his comment about not wanting to date someone as crazy as Alissa. "I can respect that. I probably wouldn't date her either." She shrugged as she followed him into the sandwich shop. "I would love to get ice cream, I should probably go home first and check on my puppy, I could always meet you there if you wanted. I have to walk home." Nicole turned to Henry and was just about to thank him when Jacob mentioned something about him not being cheap. "You guys don't have to do that, I'm just thankful for the experience, then again my coffee machine did break this morning so money wouldn't be a bad thing." She laughed at the end of her sentence so that they would know that she was joking and not serious about the money thing. Nicole pretended to look at the menu, but she already knew what she was going to get. She got the same thing every time she came here, people already knew her order. "They really do have a lot, I have tried almost every single sandwich on their menu actually!"

“That would be for the best. She is a lot and I don’t want you to get hurt by her.” He said to her. “It isn’t very fun at all. It is completely exhausting. I mean I would love to have a girlfriend but not her. I am just waiting for the right girl.” He said. “I can walk you home if you want or I can just meet you there. It is up to you. I am free today and don’t have anything to do.” He said with a shrug. “He is always cheep when it comes to hiring actors but I’ve got your back.” He said with a wink. He was always up for helping new people. He smiled at her. “Every sandwich? You do come here a lot.” He said. “But that is cool. Is there a good gym around here?” He asked. “The hotel gym is always so crowded…” he said to her. He looked over at Henry as he showed him something. Jacob shrugged. “That’s good.” He said to him. He relaxed. This was really nice. Henry paid and then went to a table after getting his sandwich. Jacob got his and sat down as well. He started to eat. “This is really good.” He said.

Nicole thought about his comment about not wanting to get hurt by Alissa, she shrugged it off as she had no interest in the actress. Nicole thought about what he had said about wanting a girlfriend, just not Alissa. Her mind started wandering off into a daydream about what it would be like to date Jacob. She quickly forced the thoughts out of her mind as she ordered her sandwich. She got the same sandwich, as usual, the vegetarian's delight. She was about to pull out her wallet when henry paid. Nicole thanked him and followed Jacob to the table. "I honestly wouldn't know about a gym, I don't really work out like that. I usually just jog around my neighborhood or take my dog to the dog park." He then mentioned the idea of walking her home and she couldn't help but blush. The idea of THE Jacob Daughtry walking into her small, and honestly cluttered home, was astonishing to her. "I mean, it's up to you if you would like to walk me home! I could always pick up my car too and just drive to the ice cream parlor, I'm probably going to change and put on some makeup before we go anyways, and I can take a while to get ready so I don't want you to feel bored just sitting around my house while I got ready." She could tell she was rambling but she couldn't get herself to shut up.
