And Then There Were Two - 1x1 with Dragontw

Ayla yawned after Matthew did, "Night Matthew, I'm probably going to head to sleep myself." After she took care of her dishes Ayla walked back to her room. There wasn't a lot to do other than sleep. She only had one book on her, and that book was beaten up badly, and she had read it fifty times. So she just crawled into bed and tried to go to sleep.

Matthew went to his room and laid down with his new blanket and fell asleep. Once he woke up in what he assumed was the morning he got up all tired and went to the kitchen to prep something for the both of them. Afterwards he would probably start cleaning that bathroom so they could finally use it.

(I apologize for the last response, I have bad a rough couple of days)

Ayla didn't realize how exhausted she had been the night before. She ended up sleeping in more than she usually would, but she woke up feeling more rested than ever. She changed her shirt from the dirty one she was wearing to the newer one she found at the apartment complex. She made her way to the kitchen where she saw Matthew. "Good morning!"

[Dragontw]

(All good!)

Matthew looked over towards her and smiled. "Good morning Ayla. Hope you slept well. Made food for you." He moved a plate a food towards her. "I was thinking about cleaning that bathroom today, or at least some of it if we can't get it all. Then we get to use it for lots of things." He wasn't sure what else they would do quite yet but it was a step.1

Ayla took the plate and began to eat as Matthew talked about the bathroom. "I slept pretty well, thank you." Ayla nodded, agreeing that the bathroom needed to be cleaned. "While we're at it we should see if anything else here needs to be cleaned, since we have the stuff it would probably be best that we clean things. I do not want to get sick." she laughed.

"Glad you slept well Ayla." He would finish his food and try to think of other areas that needed cleaning. He could touch up his room a bit just in case. "Yea that's a good idea for sure. We will have to see how much cleaning supplies we have left after the bathroom "

(I'm sorry it took me a bit to respond, I've been sick and school is handing my butt to me lol)

Ayla grimaced at the thought of cleaning the bathroom, that had always been her least favorite chore. She didn't mind doing other things like laundry and dusting. She would typically do any chore except cleaning the bathroom, she always managed to convince someone else in her family to do it for her.

(Sorry as well >.<. Though its fine that if you gotta chill cause school kicking your butt)

He had looked over at Ayla. "Are you alright? You don't have to clean the bathroom with me, I'm sure I could get it done." It would take him longer but he didn't mind too much. She could touch up the rest of their bunker while he cleaned the bathroom as well.

Ayla laughed "No I don't mind helping, I was just thinking back to when things were normal, I hated cleaning the bathroom cause we only had one bathroom which I shared with my dad and brothers."

Matthew nodded. "Alright, just thought I'd offer. Well I'm going to start cleaning the bathroom, you finish your food then you can join me in this fun chore." He joked a bit as he got up and started to head to the bathroom. He grabbed what cleaning supplies they had and started to get to work, cleaning the sink first.
