And Then There Were Two - 1x1 with Dragontw

"Nice haul!" Ayla said, she was excited about what he found. After he'd shown off, Ayla pulled her backpack off her back and began to empty it as well. She pulled out the pink bear, some more fabric scraps, some of the clothes from the dresser that weren't destroyed, and a single can of baked beans.

"Thanks, same goes for you as well." Spare food way always nice and clothing and scrap is always useful. "Now we should be able to clean that bathroom a bit as well. He started separating his stuff for the areas they would go in, tools in one room cleaning stuff near the bathroom along with some cloth. He took this blanket this time because Ayla had the first one. He put the blanket in his room.

Ayla looked at the pink bear for a moment before calling out to Matthew. "What should we call the bear? He's kind of like our new mascot." she joked as she set him on her bed. She took the fabric scraps to the bathroom and set them with the others. Ayla sperated the clothes by what she thought would fit Matthew and what would fit her. She put the beans away before taking the pile of Matthews clothes to his room. She knocked on the door frame. "Here, I think these might fit. If they don't, let me know and I'll try to figure something out to alter them."

"Hmm I am not sure what we should call the bear. Maybe like Oscar or something." He smiled a bit and continued moving things until he went into his room. When she knocked and entered he looked that clothing and nodded. "Thank you." He grabbed the clothing from her and started to sort through them a bit. He wondered how they were going to wash their clothing. Worry for another day. "Let me know when you start cleaning that bathroom because I can help out." (I am so sorry for the delay I thought I answered >.<)

Ayla smiled. "Oscar, I like that name!" She went back to her room and set Oscar on the bed. After she handed over the clothing she looked at the bathroom and then at Matthew. "What time is it?" she asked him. Ayla liked to keep on a routine for the most part. Even though it was the end of the world, she liked the sense of some king of normalcy. "Depending on how late it is I'll probably clean it tomorrow." She felt tired, but she didn't know if that was because it was late, or the adventure they had that day of finding the apartment. Maybe it was a combination of both.

"Thats good Oscar it is." He looked over at his phone. "Its getting pretty late. We were out for quite a while, so maybe we should try to clean it up tomorrow or something." That certainly didn't bother him, not like they had much else going on in their lives. Though He wanted to eat some food before resting. He started to head towards the kitchen to start cooking something for them both to eat.

Ayla nodded when he mentioned that it was getting late. She checked her water skin to see that it was still full. She double checked her bag to make sure that there wasn't any food in there before she made her way to the kitchen. If she had learned anything, nothing goes to waste.

Matthew finished cooking and got bowls and prepped the food for both of them. He would give her a bowl and he would sit down and start eating. "We got a lot of good stuff today great job Ayla " He smiled towards her.

Ayla smiled as she took her bowl and sat across from Matthew. "You did a pretty good job too Matthew." She ate her food quietly. She started thinking of a plan for tomorrow, what they might need to bring so that they can carry more things home.

He eventually finished his food and he moved his bowl to the sink and cleaned his dishes with water. Once he was done with all that he yawned. "I'm probably going to go rest in my room. Getting pretty tired from what we did today. Night Ayla"
