The girl turned around tilting her head to the side as she watched the entire posse of Himura Women march into the shop filling it to what had to be near cramped space. This was unexpected. The girl had expect one, maybe three, of them to come inside with her but all of them? Well not like the girl could really blame them since there were only two of their number left who'd yet to manage to locate a suitable gown for the Ball. A Ball that was pretty exclusive at that.
So Aralynn didn't shoo any of them away. Rather, the Changling gave the owner of the shop an apologetic expression for having brought so many inside with her and all at once at that. After which she began her rounds searching among the offerings of the shop which, to her relief and joy in equal measure, there appeared to be plenty of still. Seemed at though not many people choose to shop here. More then likely they preferred those shop closer to the center of the Capitol then where their group was currently as they were nearly as close as they could safely be.
"White or silver. White or silver.", Aralynn repeated under her breath as she searched the gown offerings. Not that it lasted too long though, for the cloaked girl soon went silent freezing in place during her search.
Aralynn had seen many dresses, fine ones as well, and yet this dress-
Solid white.
The dress was the purest white Aralynn had ever seen, almost as though it had somehow managed to copy the same colour as freshly fallen colder months. The entire dress was covered in an almost lace-like pattern that was only visible when the light hit the dress just right making it stick out from the solid background of the rest of the dress. It was off the shoulder, thus exposing said shoulders and the neck while being held up by a collar of scrunched up fabric. From this so-called collar were attached long sleeves which were really, upon closer inspection, no more then lighter panels of fabric attached at the shoulders giving the illusion of sleeves until the one wearing it moved her arms.
There was enough fabric in the gown for there to be enough of a train that it followed just behind the wearer, it was covered in true lace as opposed to a pattern like the rest of the gown. Particularly around the edges.
And the back? Aside from the medium length lace-hemmed train that was part of the back of the gown’s skirt, the back of the dress was winched up. A thick yet silky like chord carefully woven all up the back from the small of it to the area where just under the shoulder blades would begin. There was much of the silken chord left over which was simply allowed to hang and appeared to be just a part of the dress as it did so.
Aralynn was speechless just staring at it.
