For a moment, the male debated telling Lucas that the queen lives...but he wasn't sure. Considering how loyal Lucas had been to the crown recently, he wasn't sure it was a risk he was willing to take. "Why only a century or two? Do you plan on meeting your end in such a short time?" he mused before looking down at the human we was holding. " Pity. This one's cold now...they're not good when they're cold." and let the human fall to the ground with the others. " What exactly brought you into this alley anyways? Don't you know it's rude to disturb someone's meal."

The dark haired vampire sighed and tan a hand through his hair. He wondered if he should go bother Fallon, then shook his head at that thought.

The dark haired boy hummed and nearly jumped at the sound. He sighed and calmed himself, then spoke up, saying "Ah, yes. I'm ready to go," he said, and stepped to the door. He opened the door and stepped out, waiting to be taken to the dining hall.

“I do not mean any harm, I was simply curious. I picked up the scent of quite a lot of blood and came to investigate the cause, curious to see how many of us were in the area causing such a mess in broad daylight. Over hunting could be problematic.”, said Lucas choosing each word with tact and caution as he spoke before letting them loose. “Still it is good to see you as it always is. I’m afraid I have been very busy as of late, so this outing and running into you has been a welcomed breath of fresh air.”

" Yes, I suppose I must agree with that. It is quite nice to see a good friend for a change- your face is much more a pleasant sight than many of the others I've been in the presence of recently." He was rather sure Lucas was subtly chastizing him for hunting so much, but paid it no mind. In fact, he was half tempted to continue hunting- as evident by the fact his fangs were still out and eyes still aglow despite his seemingly calm demeanor. Truth be told, it was rather tiring, restraining himself like so. However, after a brief moment of thought, the slightest bit of humanity returned to his gaze, his expression bearing hints of melancholy. " Still, how have things been at the estate? and...how are the heirs?"

The staff member nodded before turning to step pass the prince to lead the way to the dinning room.

It wasn't all that much longer that Haruna was brought to the large main dining hall, the room already a light with candles casting their golden light to the surrounding walls and crystal furnishings. Servents just finishing setting the final touches on the long table as the royal guests arrived for the meal. The one who had brought the human prince turned to him smiling before offering a bow, "I hope you enjoy the meal today sir. I hope you do not mind but, for this morning, you shall be dining free of interference from the staff. But not alone."

he smiled a bit as he was brought into the dining hall, seeing the light of candles and tilting his head a moment then shaking it. He looked at the crystal furnishings as well, then hummed quietly and nodded to himself. He looked at the servers a moment. He then looked at the table and food. He was hungry, really hungry, actually, which only made sense. He smiled at the staff member when smiled at. He was unable to help but do so, then said "I...am not dining alone? I'd assume Akira would be joining me, but...Who am I dining with?" he asked.

Lucas closed his eyes taking a breath before opening them again and turning his attention upwards towards the sky above. "Things at the estate as of late have been-", he dropped off in search of the right words to explain just what had been going on. "-things have been eventful.....busy... The events in the town alone nearly threatened to overwhelm me at several points, let alone events of state with the kingdom. Luckily I have a brother to help share that normally troublesome load with and we divided things relatively easily. Rigel has taken over all domestic affairs regarding the house and town, leaving me free to focus intently and completly on His Majesty's whims. It is an arrangement that has been working quite well if I do say so myself.", Lucas informed his friend.

Though when Al brought up the human prince and princess the General stopped. He watched Al closely at that comment. "Considering I am responsible for them they are fine...so far...and will continue to be as long as they behave. Though so far it seems that they have adapted well to life around the estate, the staff seems to genuinely like them as well I would say."

Just as Lucas watched him, he watched Lucas, searching for any sign of threats or lies. " Fear not. I have no intentions of harming either heir- I took an oath to protect them, remember? I have forgiveness you for the events regarding miss Aralynn...but if anything were to happen to either heir under your watch, we would be as enemies." His voice was monotone and low. " Its bad enough you exposed vampires to them at the highguard estate. Unnecessary trauma, if you will. In the event they find out you are one, I'd wager all hell would break loose. " with a narrowed gaze, " Though... what are these eventful situations you speak of? If its naught more than vampiric threats to the crown, I can take over those duties. Tis my job these days anyways."

"An unfortunate sacrifice but needed if everything was going to go to plan. As was Highgaurd. Of course neither heir was ever in any real danger as I made personally sure of that much.", though Lucas was quick enough to change the subject. He wasn't going to admit that it made him feel somewhat better that the humans had Al's protection in some form...a bit jealous too in regards to the princess. The pureblood alone should have been more then sufficient to protect Akira but- "I see then, if that is the case regarding the heirs, I would be keeping an eye out. There was indeed an incident last month of a small uprising of halfbreeds getting far too cocky. Some of my soldiers decided to take a taste of the princess's blood in particular for themselves, naturally I handled things promptly and they soon all learned the error of their ways. However before them there was another seperate incident involving the estate receiving a visit from a Hunter. A Lycan actually." At the thought of the event Lucas's eyes turned their vampiric blood red.

“Me.” Rigel joined the staff member and Haruna with a grin, causing the staff member who had led the prince to the dining hall to bow and slowly back off in silence. “I hope you are not too disappointed.”, said the blonde young man, “Your sister has apparently chosen to take her meals in her room again for the rest of the day. So I assumed you could use the company. And since I am in charge of house affairs I thought we could dine together for the day...we are spending it together aren’t we?”
