As the day grew long, the male found himself bored. He had dismissed the twins and the rest of his assistants, in hopes some privacy would be nice. Oh how he was wrong. It was soo...mundane. afterall, it hadn't taken him long to start the foundations for his and Lucas's hunt for the last thorn ...so perhaps he could put phase one of his other plan into action. Therefore, he wasted no time in slipping into the shadows, making his way to Lucas's study.

The dark haired vampire jumped as a hand came down on his shoulder. He sighed as he looked to his father, whom told him to calm down. He nodded to the other vampire. Oh, look at that, he was using male pronouns again today. He went to the bay window they actually happened to have. He sat there and stared out it, thinking of Fallon.

The dark haired boy huffed a bit when Rigel said only the orders were stopping him from doing anything...He didn't believe that in the least. He didn't say that though, just in case. He let out a breath, and hoped Akira was doing okay. He then shook his head a couple times. He then said "Maybe...it just hasn't hit me yet."

"I suppose. It must be a shock, you're head hasn't caught up with what's really going on just yet. Do us both a favor and don't go running off screaming the moment everything does catch up with you though. It will only make things more difficult on us."

The dark haired boy almost wondered why he liked this guy, only almost. He huffed as he said "I won't do that..."

Aralynn walked with him down along the hallway along the upstairs of the house. The hall being much longer and there being more rooms then she had expected. What particularly pricked her interest though was the spot Al described which could be used for stargazing. That was new to her. Cloud watching was one thing, but to be able to watch the bright far away twinkling lights at night promised to be another experiance all together.

" Well, I suppose we can check the third floor out later. The library is up there as well, along with my personal study. Let us make our way to the first floor for now." he continued, leading Aralynn to and down a spiral staircase with an intricately crafted railing. " Down this hallway to your left here is more residential rooms. Of course the main portion here in the center is the grand foyer, or entryway if you will. Not to far from here then is another living area, along with a smaller study for anyone wishing to do some research in a bit more privacy. " he then led her down a different hallway. " To your right here then is the kitchen. I reckon it is one of the places you would wish to remember how to get to the most."

It took some time and will power but, eventually, the pureblood ended up rising to his feet from the ground with a grunt. He was being ridiculous. If anyone saw the way he was acting and deduced that it had anything at all to do with the human princess at the estate..... Lucas pulled at his hair rough to get his mind off of such thoughts and refocus them on what was important, what really needed his attention. Finding the last known Thorn of the Progenitor. The sooner that happened the sooner the Renier got his answers and could be rid of his old friend. Not to mention the extras that came by his side.

So Lucas got to work. Exploring his privet stock of books in the study and removing those which either seemed hopefull or had something to do with vampire history. He was sure the family library would have more but this was a decent start. They were carried to his desk to be piled up in preparation to be studied well into hours.

" Are you really only just getting started on your research? Truly? My my, I had expected better of you, old friend." a voice called from a shadowed corner of the study. " What on earth could've kept you for so long? Thoughts of that human girl perhaps?"

"I can't wait for the perfect night to view the stars, the only way to see them before was be out and about. But since that never happened after hours I never got to see them. The times I did were our outings.", she said cheerily already picturing what seemed like precious gem stones filling the darkness of night. This time around the blonde didn't even have to step foot outside unless she wanted too in order to see the brilliant bright specks. Aralynn walked along the hallways taking in everything regarding her surroundings from the details of wood to the decor much as she could. They only covered the upper level but the blonde silently thought that the house was already lovely. Elegant and yet there was an undertone of welcome, not unlike what she had felt from the maid who'd come to see her. She hoped she could keep the same air in what Al said was her room as the rest of the house.

Following the dark haired male down the spiral staircase, Aralynn used one hand to hold her skirts so she didn't trip and the other rested easily on the handles. Downstairs had residential rooms just as the floor the pair had come from but it didn't seem at first glance to be as many. So she assumed. It wasn't as though she and Al were going all over the lower level counting each and every door that led to privet rooms. "Its lovely here Al. Maybe settling here will be a lot easier then I thought it would be after all.", Aralynn said before her guide mentioned the kitchen. So this was where she was to go then should she need some sort of sustenance then. "I was going to ask if it wasn't on the tour."

“I have been busy.”, replied the General glad then that he had managed to pull himself together before the return of the owner of the voice calling out from the shadows of the study. Selecting the top books from one of the piles on his desk, Lucas opened it up laying it on the wooden surface. “I have removed every book in this room from the shelf that has anything to do with history. If an account of the last Thorn is to be found in one of these books, those are the kind it will be found in. I have yet to check the library.”
