"There's no need to thank me," Micah said. There really wasn't. He might be making sure she was comfortable, but he had still made her a prisoner. It sounded like she had a family in the demon realm. He and the other demons had taken her away from them. And, probably less importantly, he had also taken her from her kingdom and home. So, providing her with a room in the castle instead of the prison was the least he could do. "But you're welcome anyway."
"There is someone I need to be speak to." By someone, he meant his parents. They'd want to hear the information he had learned from Franny. "I will come see how you are doing afterwards, and, if you're hungry, I can have some food sent to you."
Amaris jumped into the conversation. "Or me and Franny can go to the kitchen and get some food for ourselves. I don't mind showing her the way. It's always good to know where the kitchen is."
I nod. "Yes, or you can do that. Whatever you'd like."
