Micah Raziel
Be strong now because things will get better.
It might be stormy now, but it can't rain forever.

Micah had spoken Jannah's name more for himself than to answer the demon's question. He didn't think about her often, but he figured he should at least start trying to remember her name better. "Whether I like her or not isn't important," Micah replied. "It's not going to get you out of being prisoner, and it's not going to keep me from marrying her." But by not answering, he knew he was answering. It was an easy question to answer. "I don't dislike her," he decided, again answering her question more for himself than her. Micah frowned at her when she mentioned her being in an arranged marriage. "I never said I was in an arranged marriage... I make it that obvious, huh?" If he'd been marrying out of choice, he'd probably have remembered Jannah's name. Surprise flickered across his face for a second before he could gain control of himself. "I would never want to kill Princess Jannah. She has a family who loves her, and she is a kind and good princess. The arranged marriage isn't her fault. But to each their own, I suppose."
Micah stared down at the demon's choker in his hand. He was surprised she had given it to him instead of keeping it safe herself. Seeing no point in trying to argue with her now, he closed his fingers around it and put it into his pocket, making a mental note to give it back to her at a later time. He shrugged when she said about him knowing how to make jewelry. That's what happens when one has four little sisters! "Unfortunately, the necklace isn't a sign I trust you, but a sign I don't. Like I said, it will prevent you from using your powers or escaping," he said. It was a little harsher than anything he'd said to her, but he wanted to make this clear to her. He could act kind and a little friendly, but she wasn't his friend. Even so, he took a step forward when she grabbed her head. "I'm sorry. I should have warned you that might happen. Are you okay?"
Echo Rigel
Don't worry about the darkness in my soul.
It ignites me like an embered coal.

Echo scanned the map Queen Jesica brought out for him. He looked up at her when she said it wasn't normal for Princess Francesca to be kidnapped. He hoped it wasn't normal to be kidnapped! Turning his attention back to the map, he stayed quiet while he thought about the possibilities. Finally, he nodded. "The angels," he said, pointing at their spot on the map. "We're at war with the angels, so there is use in kidnapping one of the princesses, either for information or ransom. Demons are weak to their power, so kidnapping her wouldn't be that hard if they were smart about it." He went back to being silent, waiting for her thoughts on what he had said.
