Summary of ɴoɪᴀ's characters up until now

Natalia
• Had a near panic attack when loaded on, met Eli, who helped calm her (for the most part!)
• Cut on shoulder, though didn't break or seriously injure anything
• Hesitant about the whole idea, didn't want to go with Clarke when she suggested exploring. Felt more comfortable being with Bellamy, who suggested they stayed put
• Decided to return the comfort to Bellamy when he begun to grow restless, grabbed his hand and told him she was on his side & that everything was going to be okay

Jaylen
• Felt shame when loaded on, was very tempted to tell Vera the truth
• Attempted a conversation with Vera (who sat a few rows ahead of him) which fell through quickly
• Was not injured but attempted to help Vera, who was dizzy and unbalanced. Was pushed away
• Envisioned his long-time dream, which was to see his first sunset with Vera
• Kept to himself whilst others discussed plans, was unsure of what to think of the idea of being on Earth (kind of in awe)
• Vera was pushed into a fighting crowd, Jay was quick to step in and catch her before she tumbled downhill. A light-hearted mood drifted around for about a minute before Vera realized who had caught her, though things weren't as aggressive as they were two hours prior to that
• Both agreed to go with Clarke & Finn into the forest

Finn
• Decided to daredevil the ride in & took off his seat belt as they landed, resulting in a crash & small concussion
• Met Clarke, who checked him for injuries. Ended up sitting inside the dropship for quite some time after the crash, following her orders
• Decided early on that he was to follow Clarke & her orders
• Broke up a fight between two guys, told Clarke he'd accompany her in the forest

Octavia
• Terrified to load into the ship (didn't know anyone)
• Was utterly relieved the moment she saw her brother
• Was the first to step onto Earth!
• Decided to playfully keep an eye on her brother whilst encountering the boys
• Met Eli, flirted harmlessly, watched the fight from a distance with pure amusement

Vera Walters || Locations: Woods
Tagging: Jaylen, Finn, Octavia, Clarke, Elijah

Vera’s eyes fluttered open to the sunbeams that made their way through the trees. Bird songs filled the air, as well as the dust particles that slowly moved with the warm breeze. It was peaceful. Her body, too comfy to move, she decided to snuggle up closer to the tree that she laid next to, resting her head gently on the soft yet firm pillow, or what she thought was a pillow, closing her eyes once more. The ginger than drifted back off into a deep sleep, her body motionless.
***
“Andrew, where are you taking me?” She giggled as a bright smile took over her face. A tall, handsome brunette stood in front of her, his kind eyes staring right into hers as he took her hand.
“Common’ I promised you a night out, didn’t I?” He asked, his brow raised playfully. Vera smiled and shook her head. “Yes, yes you did. But you know we’re not supposed to go in there right? It’s off-limits, even to me. Just promise me nothing bad will happen okay?” She pleaded, and then her soft lips met his. “I promise.” he whispered as he unlocked the metal doors.
“HEY, YOU!! Stop right there!! Don’t move!!” All of a sudden the hallway was full of armed guards. Vera started panicking and grabbed onto her boyfriend, who immediately put himself in front of her. “Hands-on your head, down on the ground. NOW!” The guard ordered, and the terrified 17-year-old obeyed with no hesitation and put her hands on her red locks. Andrew, on the other hand, did not, nor did he show any fear. “Hands behind your head, down on the ground boy.” The guard threatened, yet he did not move. The armed man came charging forward and hit her boyfriend in the head with the back of his gun, and forced him down.
“No!!!! Stop!!! Don’t hurt him!!!” Screamed the girl in a horsely voice, and was quickly back up on her feet. Vera pushed the guard off him and started hitting with all her might, tears streaming down her face in fear and anger. Another guard dressed in all black then aggressively ripped her off the beaten body and restrained her, as she kicked out trying to escape his grasp. Vera watched as the man she loved was cuffed and dragged through the hallway. Why didn’t he fight back, she wondered.
“Andrew!!” She cried out, as he was placed down in a room separate from the ship. They were floating him. “No!! Let him go! He didn’t do anything wrong!! Please!!” Her voice cracking in-between sobs. Then before she knew it, her heart stops. She watched as the door was released and her world was taken from her.
***
“Andrew!!” Vera’s eyes shook wide open and tears stream down her face.

Elijah Lively || Location: Woods
Tagging: Octavia, Jaylen, Vera, Elijah, Clarke

Eli woke up to the sound other’s talking. He, as always, is the last one up. He sat up from the hard ground, his back a bit sore, from his resting spot. A look of confusion covered his face for a few seconds when the brunette looked around his strange surroundings, he was not in his cell, then it hit him, literally. A stick fell from a tree and bounced off his head, he remembered that he and ninety-nine others were sent down to the ground. Eli rolled his eyes and stood up. “Good morning everyone! Anyone else have a crick in their neck? No? Just me? Okay.” He said as he walked up to the small group who already seemed to have packed up their things.
“Leaving already? This spot is awesome! Look, there’s lot’s of trees, sun, and there’s even is a huge river.” He pointed to the crystal clear water across the way. “Come on. Let’s be honest, we all stink. Before we go on our long hike can we at least rise off?” He questioned and rested his arm on Finn.

Clarke Griffin || Location: Woods
Tagging: Finn, Octavia, Jaylen, Vera, Elijah

Unlike the others, Clarke woke up bright and early, not just because she didn’t sleep well but she also had to study the small map she had. The blonde laid out her papers in front of her, some were drawings of the lands, and some were small notes she’s been taking since they crashed. She quietly stared at them in thought. They had no idea what they could encounter nor do they know what’s safe and not. They didn’t know this land. They were strangers in another world. Aliens. Yes, this was their home, but that was hundreds of years ago. Everything that she learnt in class could now be different.
Clarke’s thoughts were interrupted by the slight sounds of her stomach, she hadn’t eaten anything in more than 24 hours. She sighed. They needed to get food and drinkable water fast. The blonde looked over at the teens who companied her in this journey, they looked peaceful, well, except for the ginger. She had tears fallings. Clarke than walked over to the guy who sided with her, and shook his arm gently. “Finn. Finn wake up, we have to get going.” She said quietly just enough for him to hear

Bellamy Blake || Dropship
Tagging: Natalia

Bellamy woke up peacefully in one of the tents they put up last night with some of their supplies. A few blankets were found and passed around the night before but Bellamy took a couple for himself. He removed the blankets from his warm body and grabbed a shirt and walked outside to see everyone up. A few people were goofing around, some were wrestling, and some were just sitting and talking. The brunette looked around for Nat, the girl who he spoke to yesterday, but couldn’t seem to find her. He tucked the shirt he’d been carrying into his pants, still shirtless, and raised his arms in a stretch.

Finn Collins | location· outside dropship
tags· clarke, eli

Finn had had an awfully peaceful sleep, much to his uttermost surprise. He hadn't once been woken by the slamming sounds of cage doors as prisoners were brought in and out, or the occasional scream or glass shatter as someone attempted to break out. He was met by a tranquil silence, one that gently washed over him, granting him a good night's rest.

The spot he had chosen on the dropship managed to keep its darkness, for Finn was still asleep as the sun rose. Arm covering his eyes, his breathing shallow, Finn slept on without a thought in mind, dreamless. A shaking of the arm woke him up. Dark eyes flying open, Finn rolled onto his back, peaking his head to see who had touched him. Leaning over him stood Clarke Griffin, the girl who'd helped him with his concussion. Her eyes already appeared busy, her mind preoccupied. This girl never paused for a break, did she? With a small sigh, Finn rolled back onto his side.

"Good morning, princess," he acknowledged. "You're up early." Truth be told, Finn wasn't actually sure what time it was, which was the only reason why he got up when she asked him to. He shifted to sit upright, pausing momentarily to stare at Clarke, who hadn't yet moved back. As if to purposely make her feel embarrassed or uncomfortable, he dramatically scooted back, allowing her to realize how close her face had been to his when he sat up straight, then stretched out his sore arms and legs. "You got it. Who else is coming?"

His words were seemingly met by dead silence, though, for Clarke had already started walking away. An amused chuckled escaped his lips as he grabbed his sack, following her outside. She'd managed to pull a group together already, which was fairly impressive, especially since most looked half awake. Swallowing a yawn, he stood between Clarke and a boy with cropped dark chocolate hair, crossing his arms comfortably across his chest. The guy beside him was quite the chatterbox, slinging his arm lazily around Finn's shoulder as he rambled on. With a tilt of his head, Finn gave a slight nod. "He's right," he agreed a moment later. "Finding a lake would be nice."

Octavia Blake | location· outside dropship
tags· open (mentions group)

Octavia had refused to sleep inside the dropship, no matter how much Bellamy had pleaded. She had insisted on sleeping outside, for it was her first day on Earth, and she wanted to treasure it as much as possible. Both Bellamy and Clarke had actually managed to see eye-to-eye and agree on something, which was to get Octavia inside, since they didn't know what could possibly come at them at night, but Octavia was stubborn, and it wasn't long before they gave up. So she cuddled near the log she'd settled on whilst sharing a nice chat with Eli, and the singing crickets put her to sleep.

Unfortunately, Octavia had stirred early, for the sunshine rudely interrupted her sleep, the chirping birds eager to get on with the day. Much to her surprise, however, Clarke was already up, having seated herself on the far side of the ship. Octavia did not approach her, instead choosing to lay on her stomach, nestling her face into her arms. She'd managed to fall asleep again, but for no more than half an hour.

Eventually, Octavia gave up, and sat up straight, taking the time to brush out any knots in her raven black hair. Her ocean blue eyes studied the bright blue sky, taking in the existence of the fluffy clouds. It was quite beautiful; she couldn't believe she and the others had missed out on this for so long. Would the adults up above ever see such a sight in person? It was hard to tell.

A groan left her lips the moment she noticed a small group of teenagers had begun to form, indicating their day had officially begun. Octavia pushed herself onto her feet, yawning rather obnoxiously, as if to prove a point. She didn't let go of the blanket her dear older brother had managed to snag for her, hugging it close to her chest like a child as she wandered up to the group. Surprisingly, Bellamy wasn't there, but she soon realized Clarke was the one that had put things together, and the shock vanished. Though, Octavia realized she hadn't seen her brother at all that morning, despite having been up for only an hour or so. She swallowed a yawn this time, keeping quiet as she awaited further orders. She had a feeling they'd set out soon, and she wasn't ready to miss out on anything.

Natalia Beckett | location· outside dropship (near forest)
tags· bellamy

Natalia had barely slept. The feeling of being in an unfamiliar place with unfamiliar people threw her off. Illnesses had sprung from some of the wounds, creating an even more stiff environment. Natalia had done what she could to help wrap as many as possible, but her brain had soon begun to twist on her, her innocent crime mocking her, and she soon refused to see anyone more. Instead, she'd grabbed her sketch book and left, taking a seat near the back of the dropship, where she discovered some teenagers only went for privacy, most likely because it was a bit more creepy-looking than the front, which was much more open. She didn't end up drawing a thing, tears having soaked up her awaiting page. She was homesick. Earth was beautiful, but there was something off, Nat could feel it. She felt it in her bones, creeping up her spine, sending shivers over her skin. So when night rolled around, someone collected her, brought her back inside. She went to a reserved corner and didn't say a word to anyone.

Her sleep was indeed quite terrible. Flashing visions of the crash kept reoccurring, as did the sight of her mother's dying face. Monsters of the unimaginable ate her imagination, and she'd ended up waking even before the sun. Silently, Natalia had crept over sleeping figures, and made her way outside, rounding towards the back, where one person slept on the opposite side. Much to her relief, her sketchbook was still laying in the grass. With a small sigh, Natalia crawled over to it, resting her back against the ship, pulling her knees up enough to rest the sketch pad against her thighs. Wordlessly, she touched the tip of her pencil to the rough paper, and allowed her hand to work. Her vision blurred in and out with fatigue as she created, her mind completely blank, unwilling to let a single thought in. In fact, she didn't even know what she was creating until she brought her hand away from the paper. Below her, a creek had been formed, floating lazily past a few oak trees. To her uttermost horror, however, she'd drawn in a monstrous-looking animal. It was a deer, there was no denying it, but it appeared half alive, with missing body parts. Natalia studied it, her dark hazel eyes skimming over the picture. It was drinking peacefully, but she didn't quite understand why she'd managed to create something like this. In further disappointment, she didn't have an eraser. With a sigh, Natalia shook her head and stood up. She didn't fold the sketchbook back up, but tucked it under her arm, picture facing outward so she didn't have to catch another glimpse of it. Slowly, almost dreadfully, she headed back towards the front, seemingly ignoring the group of people that had gathered. Knowing them, a fight was about to go down, just like last night, and Natalia wasn't in the mood to mother them. So she kept walking, coming to an abrupt halt when her eyes settled on a newly familiar face.

"Good morning," she murmured to Bellamy, approaching him. "How'd you sleep?"

Jaylen Myers | location· outside dropship
tags· vera

Jaylen had been one of the last to retire to bed last night. He'd ended up going out with Clarke, Finn and Vera, though their walk hadn't gone very far, for darkness soon are up the sun's light, and they had no choice but to return to safety. The worst part of the night was the heartache he felt, watching the sunset by himself. Vibrant oranges, yellows and even some pink danced in the air as the sun rolled off to bed. Back in the Ark, years ago, Jay had promised Vera that he was going to be with her when they experienced the first sunset. That had been true, but Vera was nowhere to be found. Furthermore, she refused to speak to him after he helped her fall, which felt like a slap to the face. He ended up watching the sunset desperately, clasping onto whatever hope he had left. Then he went to sleep.

He could've had a better sleep, but it could also have been worse. He woke up twice, both from an unknown noise, which he later figured came from someone sleeping inside the ship. Like a few others, Jay had chosen to sleep inside the crashed ship and not in one of the tents set outside. However, in the middle of the night, it had grown quite hot out, so he exited and found a spot outside. Vera had happened to be up at that time too for whatever reason, and they shared a few brief, somewhat awkward words before parting. When he awoke in the morning, however, he was surprised to find Vera beside him, head nestled comfortably between the crook of his neck. Jay tensed, unwilling to wake her, and utterly confused as to how she ended up here. Was it by choice? He'd clearly fallen asleep before she had. Her beautiful earth-green eyes fluttered open for a fleeting second, but she was clearly too sleepy to take in her surroundings, for she was back asleep again shortly. Fighting a smile, Jay simply stared up at the sky, watching the clouds.

A heart-shattering scream flew from Vera's lips a moment later, and the girl shot up so quickly that Jay was surprised she didn't get dizzy. Her eyes were wild, clearly not present, her face pale, cheeks stained with ongoing tears. The name that left Vera's mouth nearly flew right over Jay's head as he went into protective mode, scrambling to sit upright beside her. She was panicked, and he suspected she wasn't exactly in the present moment.

"Shhh, V, it's okay," he mumbled, rubbing a gentle hand along her back. He didn't dare to do anymore, knowing that with the state she was in, he'd get in a lot of trouble if she suddenly grew angry with him. "Just breathe. You're okay."

Vera Walters || Locations: Woods
Tagging: Jaylen
The blood pounded in Vera’s ears, causing her head to feel like it’s going to explode. Her vision disfigured as if she were looking through a fish-eye lens. Her stomach twisted in pain from the number of sobs that escaped her. The girl pressed hard on her head with her palms, her fingers intertwining with her hair. Hot flashes raced around her body, yet goosebumps were visible. Vera was trapped in a broken body, gasping for breath as she choked on her tears.
“Wh-why...” She barely managed to get out as someone pulled her close, relieving some of her panics. “Why d-did the-y h-hav-have to do it.” She cried to him placing her face in the crook of his neck and wrapping her arms around the last person she’d ever think about getting comfort from. She was not aware that Jay, her ex-best friend, was the one comforting her, nor did she have a clear mind to process that was happening. Her mind was racing with emotions. Vera listened to his soft voice and tried to steady her uneven breath, though it was hard. The gentle rubbing on her back slowly calmed her. Her breathing was now at a normal rate, with the few gasps for air now and then. The sobs seemed to slow, and the pain in her chest lessened. Vera removed her hot and tear-stained face from his shoulders, that was now soaked in the salty liquid, and slowly released her grasp. She took one deep breath before opening her eyes and speaking.
“Thank you..” The ginger said in a soft voice, locking her red glossy eyes with his dark brown eyes. She didn’t know how to react. Vera was thankful that he stayed with her through one of her episodes, but she was also annoyed that he was helping her. She didn’t want anything to do with him, and he knew that. The girl slowly stood up, brushing the dirt off her pants, and opened her mouth to speak but then closed it, too exhausted to do anything. Instead, she grabbed her bag, that wasn’t too far away for where she was situated and began to walk. Vera needed air, and time to herself before she could deal with anyone, let alone Jaylen. Although she didn’t get out of sight from the rest of their small group, firstly because she was scared to venture off alone, secondly they were leaving as a group.

Clarke Griffin || Location: Woods
Tagging: Finn, Octavia, Jaylen, Vera, Elijah
Clarke rolled her eyes at the boys comment, “I’m not your princess” she said in monotone. The blonde didn’t understand why he called her that, she wasn’t royalty nor was she rich. Well. I guess she was. Her father was infact the senior environmental engineer and deputy resource officer, well until he was floated. But before his death, they were treated with a larger living space, better quality food and clothes and they were allowed access to things others weren’t. Still, Clarke hated that nickname, she never wanted to live that life style. The blonde wanted to live an equal life to those who didn’t have what she had, which was pretty much everyone else.
“I Couldn’t sleep. Not with everyone laughing and yelling last night, and definitely not with this situation. We have no idea what dangers are out there, and we have no idea what to expect on our hike today. It’s apporaxmently ten hours to where we need to go. That’s not including hills or unexpected stops.” Clarke stated and then backed away from him as he got up, his face too close for comfort. “Us two, that crackhead over there,” she pointed to Elijah who was currently spinning in circles. “Octavia, Jay i think his name is, and the red head over there.” She paused, “Now get your things, we’re leaving in two mins.” The blonde finally finishes before walking away to gather all her notes back together.
When she got there, Octavia Blake was already packed, clearly anxious to get going. She watched for a second or two as the girl paced back and forth between the tree line and the dropship, before grabbing the rest of her notes. When Clarke finished everyone was around in a bundle, some more awake and focused than others, herself being one of them. The brunette spoke out, louder than expected, talking about the river that was up ahead. She listened but knew they wouldn’t have a lot of time. They needed as much time as they can take, and swimming in a river would just waste that time. And to top it all off, they don’t even know if that water is safe to touch, let alone drink. Clarke didn’t want to risk it, although, as much as she hated to admit it, they all needed to wash off. “Okay, we can take a quick dip in a river if we can find one along the way, but we are not going to waste time finding one when we need to get the supplies for our survial. Got it? We already wasted daylight, we can’t risk losing more.” The blonde stated and then began her hike into the unknown woods.

Elijah Lively || Location: Woods
Tagging: Clarke's group
Eli smiled in agreement with Finn. He liked this guy. Although he didn’t understand why he was so tired, yes the ground wasn’t the best but hey! At least they weren’t cold damp cells. The blond girl, who put herself in charge spoke, although he didn’t pay attention. All he heard was ‘blah blah blah, supplies, blah blah, running out of time, blah blah, survival.’ He didn’t care too much, he never did when people told him what he had to do. Elijah was a free spirit and nothing could break that.
After Clarke’s speech, they headed off deep into the mysterious forest. Some trees were covered in moss, while others were completely dry. The same goes for the boulders that lay peacefully untouched on the forest’s bed. The sun rays were placed perfectly in between the spaces of the leaves that granted them shelter. There wasn’t much talking going on at first, everyone was just in awe with this new atmosphere, with the few ‘Woah look at that’, ‘this is beautiful’ statements. But Eli, as always, broke the silence. “Hey, are we there yet.” He joked, as his stomach rumbled. “I’m getting hungry, I may have to eat one. of you”, He laughed at his own joke. But he didn’t have to wait very long before some type of blue-berries caught his green eyes. Eli rushed ahead and stopped where a bush was full of these juicy fruits. He carefully picked one, making sure not to break it, and held it in front of his face. He noticed a couple of people tense up as he did so. What were they afraid of? And before you knew it, he tossed the strange berry up into the air and ate it. He watched as their reactions seemed to freeze, their skins almost pale as he did so.
“What? It’s not like this small little thing can kill me.” He joked once more and his head filled with an idea. The brunette quickly grabbed his throat and gagged, pretending to choke.

Bellamy Blake || Dropship
Tagging: Natalia
Bellamy turned around at the sound of a soft delicate voice, one he is now quite familiar with. He watched as a beautiful brunette came up to him, still with tired eyes. “Goodmorning,” He smiled, then reminded he was shirtless and quickly through his shirt that he tucked into his pants on. He wasn’t embarrassed by himself, oh no, he was quite happy with his body but he had high respect for this new girl and wanted to ensure that she didn’t see him wrong. “I slept okay, warm with the blankets. What about you? I’m thinking not so well considering the slight dark circles under your eyes. What about?” The brunette asked politely, not wanting to push her to speak but allowing her to understand that he is here for her.

Jaylen Myers | location· outside dropship → forest
tags· vera

The sobs continued onward, and Jay feared his rather awkward attempt of settling the ginger haired beauty would do no good. Alas, he’d admit, it had been quite some time since he offered physical contact to anyone, let alone physical relief, so feeling her head against his neck felt oddly unusual at first. However, within seconds, old memories of young Jaylen and Vera flooded through his mind, piling up the way her tears were against the neck of his shirt, and he found himself holding her a bit tighter. His fingers traced gentle circles across her back, trailing up and down her spine, but still, he let silence take control of the moment. It wasn’t long before the audible sobs began to fade, her body physically shaking as she put a halt to her tears. He pressed his lips together, averting his eyes for just a second. He knew exactly what she was talking about. Her mumbled mess made perfect sense, despite the difficulty in hearing. She was dreaming about Andrew. Jaylen had figured it was an ongoing nightmare that she dealt with, especially after seeing his death.

She could know so much more.

It was on the tip of his tongue. It had been since the moment she was brought back to him. Her heart was made of glass, and he’d been too afraid to shatter it yet again, so he kept quiet. He wasn’t about to tell the grieving girl, the girl he loved, that the reason he was here in the first place was because of the rebellious boy she claimed she loved. She was too fragile, especially at a time like so. Had things been different if he’d been honest? She wasn’t around the night Andrew snuck into the Lookout. She didn’t know that it had been Andrew that had cracked open that window, that it was Andrew who was willing to sneak out those glass walls, all for her. Did Andrew know that was the real reason Jay was sent away? He’d fibbed on the spot, easily admitting it was he who attempted to get a real feel for the sky. Not only had that made Vera falter, but the sight of seeing her former best friend in the room that punished criminals angered her so much, she refused to even make eye contact. Now, months and months later, she was crying into his shoulder, and he was holding her, just as he wished for several months ago. Only, she was crying over her dead boyfriend, and he was a ghostly figure offering her bland comfort.

Her warm hazel eyes, now mixed with a bloodshot red, stared at him. Or, through, rather. Who was he to her? He wanted to know what she saw. Ge wanted to know what was going on in that thoughtful head of hers. Still, Jay did nothing more than remain silent. Was her thank-you real, sincere? Although it hadn’t appeared forced, she had put on such a good impression of playing her contented self that Jay didn’t even know. Months ago, he’d be able to read her easily. Now, she was different, as was he. So he simply nodded, a half-smile on his face. His eyes didn’t leave her until she was out of his view, down in the shadows of the trees. He knew she wouldn’t wander far, but still, he worried. With a heavy sigh, Jay heaved himself up, grabbing his sack before wandering over to the small group, which had already begun to head towards the visible path in the forest.

Lately, it seemed like silence with the most loyal thing to be played around with. It seemed as though silence was the only thing to keep him company.

Finn Collins | location· outside dropship → forest
tags· clarke’s group

Finn stared after Clarke. Wasn’t it a bit too early for sass? He supposed it lived on her, settled on her skin, in her hair, ready to explode at any moment. Still, Finn was all for comebacks, and he didn’t hesitate to call out, “Not *mine!*” as she exited the tent. With a sigh, followed by an amused shake of his head, he continued to walk alongside her, for not long after his agreement to Elijah’s words, she spoke up once more. Her voice was more hushed, suggesting she did not wish to have a conversation to everyone about whatever it was she was about to speak of. Finn couldn’t help but give her a sympathetic look at her small comment. Come to think of it, she did look pretty exhausted. It looked as if she hadn’t run her hands through her platinum blonde locks, and the dark circles under her sky blue eyes were fairly visible. Finn supposed he didn’t look much better.

“What a crew we’ve got going on here,” he found himself chuckling, despite the slight look of annoyance across Clarke’s pale face. Out of the ninety-something people, they found themselves with a boy with too much energy for his own good, a girl who was clearing sobbing, and another guy that looked as if he had just seen a ghost. Bellamy Blake’s sister was the only one who didn’t look out of sorts, though she was clearly ready to get a move on. When Clarke settled the agreement on the water situation, Finn gave a curt nod, removing a water bottle from his backpack. “Bring as many of these as you can,” he added quickly, shooting a very quick glance in Clarke’s direction to make sure she was okay with his additional words. Then she was off, leaving the rest helpless. Finn glanced over at Eli, raising his brows. “She’s feisty,” he said, tone laced with amusement, before he rushed back towards Clarke’s side. “What’s on the agenda, captain? Water first, or potential food?” His gaze trailed backwards, as if to make sure the group was still with them. He pursed his lips together as Eli rushed over to a shrub, plucking a purple berry off of its branch. “I’m going to go with food…” he couldn’t help but add under his breath, shrugging one shoulder before turning back to Clarke yet again, very much prepared to see her reaction to that. Little did he know, the boy began to choke, and worry grew over Finn, who was quick to rush to his side in case he needed help.

Natalia Beckett | location· outside dropship

Natalia, ever so naive, tucked her hands behind her back and kept her gaze down as Bellamy changed. She couldn't imagine he was warm, for the morning breeze was a bit too chilly for her liking, but she didn't bother making a comment on it. It wasn't any of her business. A half smile played at her lips as he commented on her physical appearance, and she finally allowed her eyes to trail up to meet his.

"I look that bad?" She shrugged, taking little offence. She was exhausted, her mind having been too stubborn to allow a decent amount of sleep to creep inside of her body, so she didn't expect to not look the part. "I had some leaves to accompany me. They probably weren't as nice as your blankets, but so be it." She didn't mean to purposely attack him, but the words slipped from her lips before she thought them through, and now there was no taking them back. Instead, she simply averted her gaze, allowing her eyes to travel towards the forest, where the small group had gone. Nat had little issues going on a search for food and water, but they wanted to move so quickly, and it made her awfully nervous. She supposed she could only hope for the best. "There's something weird about this place, I can feel it. I just don't know what exactly it is."

Octavia Blake | location· forest → lake
tags· clarke's group (eli, clarke)
Octavia drifted closer to the small group, fiddling with her fingers as if in an attempt to pretend not to eavesdrop. She was quite sure Clarke wasn't very fond of her, especially since Bellamy was her brother, but she wanted to get in on everything, anything. She was down on Earth, after all! Octavia wasn't even supposed to be alive, let alone down exploring the place everyone desired to get a piece of. Of course she wasn't going to miss out.

So she stayed quiet as the group began towards the forest, edging closer to the back, unwilling to meet anyone's eye. Her posture relaxed and she felt more like herself as they began their way through the forest. It was beautiful. Sunlight traced the leaves on the trees, which were every shade of green imaginable. Birds- real animals!- sang from the tree tops, daring to be found. The ground was soft, squishy, and she found herself grinning as she turned in to. Octavia soon fell into step with a tall guy with raven black hair and freckles, who soon introduced himself as Ryan. The dark haired girl entered an easy conversation with him, and felt everything was going quite smoothly until she heard a gagging noise behind her. Somewhat panicked, she came to an abrupt halt and spun around. Much to her surprise, there stood red-faced Elijah, a hand on his chest. He was choking. She sucked in a breath so quickly she nearly coughed, then rushed forward.

"Someone *do* something!" Octavia cried out. Around her, pale-faced teenagers watched, their bodies completely motionless. Why wasn't anyone doing something? Her hand went to his back just as the sound took a turn, and before she knew it, he was laughing. *Laughing.* Her face hardened, and she snatched her hand away, her stormy blue eyes staring at him with utter disbelief. Things were still silent, and without a word to break it, she turned away and practically stomped away from him. Did he think that was funny? Shaking her head to herself, the girl crossed her arms across her chest, thankful for Clarke's command to walk onward.

The walk felt longer now, for Octavia felt as though her feet were dragging, as if the mud was attempting to grasp at her ankles and pull her back. Within minutes, however, the air began to pick up, and something in the atmosphere shifted. Her gaze lifted, and she nearly did a complete double-take. "Water!" The words left her lips before she had fully processed the sight before her very eyes. Up ahead, there was, undoubtedly, a lake. Its surface glimmered contentedly, seemingly very welcoming, and Octavia felt her misery wash away. She rushed up to Clarke, for she wished to get on the girl's good side. "Can I try it out? It looks completely harmless."

Vera Walters || Locations: Lake
Tagging: Clarke’s group
Unaware of the new scenery that was around her, Vera's mind drowned in thought, still shaken from her previous episode. Thoughts raced around her mind but only one she was able to capture. *Why did he help me?* This thought kept replaying, over and over. She keeps treating Jay like he doesn’t exist like he’s a ghost, a long lost memory. Yet he continues to reach out and help her like they were kids. But why? Isn’t Jay the one who got her boyfriend killed, or so she thought? Vera’s mind continued to fill with unanswered questions as they walked along a new grassy path.

Faded voices of the group rang in her ears but she could not make out what they were saying, her mind still too cloudy to comprehend any of it. Instead, the ginger focused on the small pebble that she had been kicking around with them, for how long? She did not know. The voices grew louder and began to overlap until the girl zoned back into reality. Someone’s choking! Or at least was choking. By the time Vera tuned in, the guy that was choking was now dying of laughter while the rest of the group looked like they were going to kill him, especially the girl with the jet black hair. She wasn’t sure what the story was but Vera was not about to get involved, she had too much to deal with at the moment. Plus by the time everything processed in her head, the group continued forward into the calm woods. They passed tree after tree, hill after hill, until they reached an opening. Crystal clear water separated the land. Sunbeams reflected off the water, giving it a shimmering look. It was beautiful. The overwhelming feeling the teen had moments before was now gone like it was never there. Vera was relaxed, for the first time in a long time. She watched as the once exhausted group, now filled with energy. Everyone was dying to go in. The one girl, Octavia, was the first to ask about getting in the water, and surprisingly she was granted her wish by the blonde. Not waiting for any second longer, she watched as the girl quickly ripped off her clothes, leaving only her bra and underwear on before diving in. Seconds later, everyone did the same.

“Guys just be careful. We don’t know what could be in that water.” Vera said quietly, not expecting anyone to hear. She then slowly took off her pants and shirt, revealing just her sports bra and underwear, before she walked carefully into the luke-warm water.

Clarke Griffin || Location: Woods
Tagging: Finn, Clarke’s group
Clarke smiled and gave a quick nod in return of Finn’s comment about the water bottle’s. He was right, they don’t know how long they would be without fresh water. They needed as much as they could carry. The blonde’s attention was brought back to the floppy-haired brunette as they began their adventure into the woods. “We need to make up as much time to get to Mt. Weather. There, they have everything we need. Food, clean water, weapons, supplies. Everything. But if we can find freshwater along the way, we need to mark that off on the map and collect some because we can only survive...” The blonde began to trail off as she watched Eli grab something off the bush. Rolling her eyes she made her way back over to him. “What do you think you’re doing.” She snapped, not waiting on an answer. “We need to keep moving. We don’t have time for this. And if you’re so worried about dying of starvation, don’t. That’s in two weeks. You should be worried about dehydration, that’ll kill you in three days if you're lucky.” She stated harshly, just before she watched him eat the berry. Disbelief covered the blonde’s face. How could anyone be that stupid? She wondered. You never eat anything you don’t know, especially from the wild. Didn’t he learn that in class? Her question was quickly answered as the boy began gasping for air, seconds after he ate it. “Unbelievable.” She mumbled under her breath in annoyance as she rushed over there to help but before she could do anything he began laughing hysterically. Clarke stared at him, annoyed now more than ever. They wasted a good five minutes standing here dealing with this berry. She didn’t even bother saying anything, already knowing that his response will be something stupid.

Clarke led the group once more, now picking up the pace to regain the time they lost. She led them through a thicker part of the woods, more trees covered the land and less sunlight reached the ground, yet the air was still thick. The land almost looked like an enchanted forest with the deep green trees and abandoned feel to it. She loved it. Walking further into the woods, more and more sun began to peek through the trees until there were no trees, but now water. She could already sense the excitement coming from everyone as they came closer to the lake that laid calmly in front of them. Moments later, Octavia came and asked a question that everyone was thinking. Clarke thought about it. They already wasted time dealing with Eli, but they made a good recovery. And if the water was toxic, there would be no vegetation near the water bed. “I guess so. But we can only stay for a little bit.” She said, hoping they would listen to her.

Clarke walked closer to the edge of the water, where it seemed like it went down forever. She watched the group splash around in the water as she still stayed in her clothes, not wanting to go in. She didn’t have time for this, her mind was too busy with needing to gather the supplies before nightfall. She went to reach into her bag but Finn came up to her, dripping wet. “What are you doing? I thought you wanted to swim.” But before you knew it, two hands pushed Clarke’s clothed body into the water. “FINN!!!”
