Master Natayla was awoken the next morning by the soft light filtering in through the shades and onto her face. She got up and stretched out her back as her eyes began to adjust to the light. She changed into her usual clean robes and tied back her hair in a loose ponytail. She washed her face quickly before heading out of her room and down the hall to check on the Queen. She peeked into the woman’s other room and smiled seeing her still asleep and well.

The Jedi Master made her way down the stairs to check the outside area. She took in a deep breath of the fresh air as she strode around the area, checking for any sign of enemies. Upon seeing none she wandered around a bit more, just feeling excited to explore the area around the cottage. There was a running stream that led her over to the mountains of Naboo that were truly majestic. She found a small stump to sit on and took a seat to enjoy the wilderness around her for a couple of minutes before heading back inside. This could very possibly be the only moment of peace that she would get for quite some time.

After a couple minutes of humming and waking up she made her way back to the cottage. She walked in on Queen Vila making breakfast for the group and smiled. She took a seat on the outside table and waited for the food to come while she observed the area around once more.


Queen Vila awoke a couple of minutes after the Jedi came in and checked on her. She slipped into a pale pink dress and did her makeup to match. She curled her hair quickly and tied part of it back in a regal bun. She smiled to herself in the mirror as she sprayed a bit of perfume on and checked her reflection one more time. She was ready to start a new day and have a better one than the day before.

Vila made her way down the stairs and into the kitchen, surprised to see that there wasn’t anyone out yet. Then again they could be outside or awake in their rooms getting ready as well. She turned on the stove and began to cook for the others as she usually did. As she waited for the food to be cooked she picked some flowers to put in a vase and set on the table. She heard the door swing open and smiled a welcome at the Jedi who had just entered in.

Soon the food was cooked and she set the plates out on the table for the other three whenever they were ready. She walked out with Natayla and the two ate together while waiting for the others as well.

Silas after he has awoken decided to meditate to clear his mind. Usually he would prefer to go outside and meditate by the water as it has always brought peace to his mind but today he decided against it because if people were still asleep around the cottage, he didn't want to make a ruckus and wake everyone. He spent about an hour in his room, centring himself and releasing his tensions into the force.

Avalon slept a bit during the night but he was awoken in the early hours of the morning by Haru, who just pounced on him. They spoke for a while. Haru expressed their concern for their kin back on Alderaan, which led the two to talk about their families. It turns out Haru has a partner and two children, who were born mere months ago. After Haru poured their heart out to Avalon, Avalon felt it was only fair to tell Haru about his family or what he knew of it. He spoke of the Jedi briefly, his mother, how he knew there was a father out there somewhere, he spoke of their kin back on Tython and before that. Both Haru and Avalon despite being very different species are considered part of one kin by the galaxies creatures, which would sound very strange to the rest of the galaxy. It is also why, like Haru, Avalon is concerned about what is happening on Alderaan.

After Silas was done meditating, he got dressed and decided to go down stairs. Silas walked past Avalon's room and heard meowing and quiet talking coming from it. He decided to let the two be, and went down stairs. Once he was down stairs and spotted the two women eating breakfast.

"Good morning, your highness. Master Natalya." Silas greeted with a kind smile.

“Good morning Silas. I hope you slept as well as I did.” Master Natayla said, nodding her head slightly at him as she walked in. She took a few more bites of food as it was rather delicious, and she needed the fuel to get through the day. Who knew what the day was going to hold in store for them as time went on, hopefully nothing too major. Alas, that was certainly wistful thinking as being a Jedi practically attracted danger and major events to them.

“I’ll help you clean up my Queen.” The Jedi said kindly as she finished up her own plate of food. “You are a wonderful cook I must say.” She said as she followed the Queen back inside with her dishes in hand. She helped the Queen clean up just like she said she was going to before heading out into the gardens.

The cottages gardens were a wonderful place, filled with many different flowers and things inside. She wandered around it, taking her time to relax and absorb the smell of the many different flowers around her.


“Good Morning Silas, just as Natayla said I do hope that you had a most pleasant sleep. If you do need anything more to make you more comfortable please do not hesitate to let me know.” The Queen said kindly as she looked over at the Padwan. Just as she observed him she realized how beautiful and entrancing his eyes were. She shook herself out of those thoughts as she focused back up on eating her breakfast. “Thanks Master Natayla, I do appreciate all of your help. I owe you all everything that you could ever imagine.” She said, finally taking a final bite of her food.

As soon as the other female got up, Vila got up as well with her plate and cup in her hand as well. She let the Jedi clean her plates first before she went to do the same with hers. “Oh truly ma’am you are so kind to me!” She replied as she dried the plates off as well. She put them back in their proper place as the Jedi walked out to go observe her garden. Her garden was in fact her pride and joy.

Once she finished cleaning up she went back to the table and sat down with the Padwan. “What is life like a Jedi like?” She questioned him as she smiled over at him.

After he greeted Master Natalya and the Queen, he sat down to eat his breakfast while the two cleaned up after themselves and Master Natalya went to the garden while the Queen sat back down at the table.

"A life is a Jedi is unpredictable and full of surprises." Silas summarised. "When we are young we train and then when we are old enough we get assigned a Master who either decides to continue training us at the temple or takes us on more peaceful mission which slowly progress into dangerous territories." He explained as he was finishing up his breakfast. "What is life like as a royal?" he asked in return.

Avalon walked down stairs, with Haru on his shoulders. "Morning." He called out to the two sitting at the table. "We will be back soon." Avalon gestured at Haru and swiftly left the cottage.

“I bet, although it sounds like quite a bit of work and peril it sounds rather fun. You enjoy it very much I presume as you seem to have a heart for it.” Queen Vila replied after listening carefully to what the other was saying. Being a Jedi did sound rather fun and she was very interested to hear more about his life. “Being a royal is rather boring I must say, even though that sounds bad... You go through a lot of schooling and classes that teach you how to act a certain way as a royal. Always dotting your i’s and crossing your t’s you know. I just want to be able to let lose a bit and live my life as I am still young.” She said as she smiled over at the other.

“Morning, stay safe you two.” Master Natayla said as she laid eyes on them. She smiled softly and nodded at the two respectfully as she walked out of the room. She soon got up to go back to speak with the others.

[Master Obi-Wan]

Silas returned the smile. "I find the life of a royal quite fascinating actually. It's very different from a life of a Jedi. Years ago, I met a Baron and he tried to explain it to me, but I didn't understand it back then." Silas said as he cleaned up after himself. "What is your plan for today, your majesty?" Silas inquired.

Meanwhile, Avalon and Haru walked a bit away from the cottage where they met up with a herd of wild horses. "Morning. May we hitch a ride?" he asked the horses in general and one volunteered his services. "Excellent. We won't be going far, don't worry." He told the others as he and Haru hopped up on one of the mightier stallions.
