Personality; Rosalina is more humble than the rest of her family, who is jealous of her special gift. She often uses it to boost crop production, and just to help out her people in general. She tries her best to balance our her unjust father, who doesn't see that what he's doing is wrong. She is in line to take the throne once he passes, and plans on making a country that is much more at peace with its neighbors. She tends to try and see the best in every situation, and gives wonderful advice to those who ask her for it. She is quite smart as she spends much of her free time in the library or exploring the outdoors. However, she can be a bit clumsy at times, and doesn’t always make the smartest decision. She loves having as much fun as she can with anyone she can. Her favorite things to do are going to her fathers balls that he hosts. She tries to visit with the castle guards as much as she can, hoping to make their day a little less boring. Her main goal in life, besides her plan for her country, is to tame a dragon one day.
History; Rosalina comes from a long line of royalty who took over after the Elvish war. She is one of the selected to power the magic in the country, and being taken away from her country could cause devastating mistakes. If the Jewel and her are taken by the wrong people, it could cause an even more disaster for not just her country, but the world. She is well protected to ensure her safety.

Ezra Bennet ended up working as a castle guard after childhood summers ill
spent adventuring with friends. Pressure from his family to grow up and make
something of himself that didn't involve getting in trouble forced his hand.
Training and preparation for the job was enough to let him know that it
wouldn't be something he enjoyed. There wasn't enough excitement roaming
the halls or standing post outside of the castle, but at least he was no longer
disappointing his family. Still, the need to do more than wander around a
castle calls to him.

The floating kingdom of Argatha can be found floating above one of the great oceans called Hiven. It is ruled by the unjust king Merilyn, with his pure of heart daughter Rosalina as his advisor. Even though the two have very different idea's on how to rule the king needs her. She was gifted the power of the jewel at a young age when her mother had died. Only the pure of heart could carry such a gift, that has been passed down from mother to daughter for generations. The jewel is located somewhere in the country, but none except the pure of heart knows where it is located. The jewel and the pure of heart connect in a wonderful harmony to create peace and prosperity throughout the country that they are located in. It can be taken to different countries, willingly or unwillingly but only works if both of them are together. It can even bring prosperity to the evilest of countries, which means the pure of heart must be protected at all times.


Rosalina opened her eyes to the bright sunlight radiating through the now opened window. She blinked her eyes a couple of times to adjust to the sudden light and saw her handmaidens waiting for her. She sighed and climbed out of bed, she had wanted to rest a moment longer but apparently that was not going to happen. She took her seat in front of the vanity and watched as the maids untangled her curls and did her makeup. She was then put into a dress and sent off to breakfast. She sat down in a seat in between two of her siblings and ate quietly. She didn't have much to do today except one meeting with her father and his generals and that was all. In the mean time she would take a walk around the castle grounds. Once her plate was cleared she excused herself and walked down the wide steps and into the castle gardens. She hummed happily to herself as she looked at all the beautiful flowers that were growing inside of it. The gardeners always did such a wonderful job of keeping the place clean and tidy. She heard a loud screech and looked up to see a dragon flying around, she furrowed an eyebrow as she watched it. It seemed to be looking for something, or someone. She decided it would just be safe for her to back inside the castle and alert her father.

Ezra's day had started early, as most of his days had recently. Even if he wasn't on one of the early posts or patrols, he was still expected to get up and make himself useful somewhere. Today, however, he was assigned a patrol of the lower floors with one other guard. Already the day started out rather boring in his eyes, and he was dreading the long hours of doing nothing but walking and occasionally shooting a knowing glance at the other guards as they passed. He had heard so many stories about weird or interesting things happening at the castle, or at least gossip overheard by the guards. None of it ever seemed to happen to him though. It struck him funny that he was slightly envious of people actually having to deal with trouble.

As he walked the halls he could see a flash of pink outside of a window. It seemed the princess had headed out into the gardens. He had few interactions with Rosalina, but she seemed to be one of the more genuine people in the castle. He couldn't help but wonder if the weight of a crown and politics would ever rob her of the joy she seemed to carry with her everywhere. Ezra continued on his patrol, not wanting to be admonished for standing idle for so long. The muffled cry of a dragon sounded through the walls, and he went back to the window to see if he could see it. From his vantage point he couldn't see anything, and was slightly disappointed. A dragon that close to the castle could mean trouble. Remembering that the princess was out in the garden he stood numb for a second, then went to the door to make sure that she had made it inside. He wouldn't bother her, just make sure that she was alright. If anyone asked why he wasn't doing his rounds he would have the perfect excuse. He was simply making sure that the princess was alright.

The dragon flying around had quite disturbed her as it wasn’t the type that was usually seen flying around. It seemed as if it was being ridden by someone as well, it was too close to the ground to just be flying over. She hadn’t heard of anyone coming to meet with her father, as he would’ve told her days in advance as she worried about things like these. as she walked back inside the castle she bumped right into a familiar face. “Oh, my apologies I wasn’t paying attention,” she told the guard with a small giggle escaping from her lips. It was Ezra, quite a new guard and one she didn’t interact with much. But she always had a pleasant time when she had spoken with him in the times before. “I’m sure you probably heard it but there is a strange dragon outside. It seems as if it’s an Eastern Dragon, so totally in the wrong area as were in the west.” She alerted him with a worried frown on her face. She didn’t want anything bad to happen to anyone that lived inside of her country. If it was one of the feared bandits that could be very bad for her as well. Many of them had searched for the jewel and it’s counterpart for centuries and some were successful at getting her ancestors but never the jewel. She was always quite afraid of getting kidnapped and whisked away from her home and into an unknown place, especially if she was taken alone.

“I’m going to go alert my father. If you could come with me that would be quite nice as I do get a bit worried about these things. I wouldn’t want there to be someone already inside and just snatch me up. I know that’s very irrational as you all do such a great job of keeping us safe, but I can’t help but be a bit fearful,” the princess said as she twisted one of her rings around her index finger. There had been times in the past where enemies had managed to hide inside the castle for days, stealing food from the kitchen until the rest of their partners came to help them out. The thought just terrified her to death, so having a guard there with her would make her feel much better. As she began walking to her fathers study she looked around the castle walls nervously looking for a face to be looking back at her. Again this was rather irrational, but the thought was already implanted into the back of her mind.

When the princess walked inside he was slightly relieved. Not that he really thought anything would happen in such a short amount of time. Still... The look on her face didn't do much to fill him with confidence. Clearly she was worried about it too. And the fact that it was an Eastern dragon didn't help things. It was highly unusual for any dragon to just pass over the castle, let along for an Eastern dragon to do it. He did his best not to look worried though, feigning confidence.

"Of course, Princess," he said as he followed alongside her. Even though they had had a few interactions, and she frequently talked with the guards, he still wasn't too sure how he should interact with her, so he stuck to just being polite in fear of crossing boundaries. He couldn't help but notice how anxious she seemed. "Don't worry, it's probably nothing," he said, giving her a reassuring smile. He couldn't shake the growing unease he was feeling, but there was no real reason to be worried yet.

“Thank you for coming with me Ezra,” Rosalina told him kindly. She began to take quite the liking to him, as she did like to be friends with many of her guards. He seemed to have a kind heart as well, and his words did seem to calm her a bit. “I know it probably isn’t. But it’s very uncommon to see those kinds of dragons here. I couldn’t see all too well but there is a possibility he does have a rider. I think I may have saw some of the straps for a saddle, but it could’ve been nothing. Hopefully, it’s just a dragon that’s a little bit off course from its destination,” she informed him as she twirled a piece of hair around her finger. She definitely felt the same uneasiness creep across her stomach, as if there were a out inside it, as she walked further. Any unexpected noise made her jump as she walked. She shook her head at herself, she was acting rather silly she knew better than to get herself so worked up over things like this.

Rosalina knocked before entering into her fathers study, smiling as he turned around to see her. “Father, I just thought I would let you know that there was an Eastern Dragon hovering over us for a bit. I thought i saw a saddle on him but I couldn’t be too sure.” She said frowning as she wrung her hands nervously. She watched as he pondered over what they should do. He ordered some of his guards to go look out and see if it was still there. They brought back reports that he wasn’t but the princess wasn’t too convinced that everything was just fine. “Well, if you say nothing is wrong then it must be so.” She said respectfully before walking out of his office. “I don’t think everything is as okay as it seems.” She admitted to Ezra as she walked back with him to his post. “Will you come with me to look around?” She questioned, knowing she would go either way but the companionship would make her feel quite a bit more calm.

Ezra waited at the door while Rosalina went into the King's study. He couldn't help but peek inside before he went and stood to the side, though. More guards were called, and it was more concerning that no one else saw the dragon. If there was really a rider on it, why would they risk flying directly over the castle in broad daylight. It seemed like such a bold move to just be a trivial matter. And disappearing really made it seem as though something was amiss. It wasn't his place to comment on it, so he just began walking with the Princess as she left the king behind.

When she asked him if he would go with her, he didn't hesitate to say yes. "Of course." The two of them seemed to be on the same page, and if something was wrong he didn't think it would be a good idea for her to be alone. Not that he knew what he would do if they were in any kind of danger. He could fight well enough, and was quick on his feet, but he had never tested his meddle in a high stakes situation where royalty was involved. Any trouble he had been in had usually been messing with wild animals or lowlifes. He was a little worried about abandoning his post, but figured since he was accompanying the princess that it could be forgiven. Ezra didn't feel right leaving her by herself. "You really think something is wrong?" he asked her.

“Thank you. I would’ve gone either way... I hate to say this but the dragon could be hiding under the kingdom while it’s waiting for whoever to get their job done.” Rosalina replied, frowning slightly as she spoke. She quickly went into a room where they kept some swords and picked up one for herself. She picked the lightest one possible and then quickly went back to Ezra’s side. “I truly do. I don’t know why but my gut is just screaming at me that somethings wrong. Which probably means that I shouldn’t go out here, but oh well. I have you with me I believe I’ll be just fine.” The princess answered as she stepped out back into the garden. She shielded her eyes with her hand as she looked back up at the sky, no dragon. “Where could it be...” She muttered to herself, it couldn’t have flown off that quick could it?” She asked her companion as she resumed her walking. She was going to head to the forest to look around there as that was a great place for people to hide. This was going to be her biggest mistake.

As she plunged deeper into the forest she happened to hear muttering between three or more people. She held out her hand and stopped Ezra and motioned for him to listen. Her eyes widened as she heard what they were talking about, and that was abducting her and the jewel. She quickly turned on her heel to rush back to the castle when someone dropped down next to her from above. They had been right above them, and not deeper into the forest. She brought out her sword and did her best to defend herself as the other three landed around the group. The man she was fighting managed to knock her sword out of her hand and wrap his dirty hands around her waist. She squealed and started flailing herself around, trying to kick the man to get out of his grasp. However, her efforts seem to be working as a syringe was plunged into the side of her neck to make her more docile. She whimpered as she felt her senses slowly slip away from her, this was not what she had expected.
