“thank you captain, i’ll be sure to find you if i need anything.” princess rosalina said, nodding her head respectfully for a second to show her respect for the other. she then turned on her heel and headed off in the direction that she was pointed in to give to the cook. she found a doorway that had a small plaque that read ‘kitchen’ and she entered in with a smile on her face. she handed the chef boy her plate, ignoring the shocked look that she was given as she did so. she supposed that the others must not have expected to see a princess onboard their ship ever. it was a rather rare occasion that a princess would travel on such a ship, but desperate causes called for desperate measures. as she walked out she contemplated going back on the deck of the ship, but she presumed she would be more welcomed staying out of sight of the crew. she made her way through the lantern lit hallways until she found the cabin that she was given to by the captain. she slipped into the room and looked through her things for a book to read to pass the time. she was surprised that she didn’t feel queasy as she usually did, she felt rather healthy and happy as the ship bobbed over the waves. she returned to her hammock with a good book and flipped through the pages, investing herself in the story as she read.

nancy sighed, staring out at the deck and the crew. it seemed they were talking.. she was too tired to care at that moment, and just stood there, watching everyone. the sky was beautiful, and the sea held even more beauty. nothing matched the sea. well, nothing she’d ever heard of or seen. nancy closed her eyes for a moment, before shooting them open wondering where the princess was. nancy was surprised at how worried she was. she told herself that the princess had probably just gone to her cabin, staying out of the crew’s way. good choice by rosalina, nancy thought.
a few minutes later nancy found herself twirling her hair in her hands, a form of boredom. she’d never been bored when they were on the sea, but then again she wasn’t exactly being herself.. she was acting as a merchant, who was honored to have a princess aboard her ship. plus, royalty payed well. though she doubt her crew could hold themselves all the way to the princess’ prince. there would definitely be a few mishaps along the way. nancy just hoped that they weren’t that big. with a hmph, nancy turned to walk the ship’s grounds.
