She is in line to take the throne once he passes, and plans on making a country that is much more at peace with its neighbors. She tends to try and see the best in every situation, and gives wonderful advice to those who ask her for it. She is quite smart as she spends much of her free time in the library or exploring the outdoors. She tries to visit with the castle guards as much as she can, hoping to make their day a little less boring. Her main goal in life, besides her plan for her country, is to tame a dragon one day.

known as hex by her crew and others, but her real name is tuesday sykes. her other alias is nancy bliss, she uses it when she’s posing as something other than a pirate.

hex follows one rule; do what it takes to survive. she hates to kill, and won’t do it unless someone attacks her first.
hex loves to play the part of merchant, because she secretly loves it when people don’t look at her with hate. she likes the sea and pirate life, but somewhat longs to go back to the land and her home, but that’s not an option. hex has caused to much trouble to go back to her birth kingdom. in order to keep her crew, she has to act tough, otherwise people might think she’s going soft.
she can get snappy when people doing do their work properly, but she understands as she used to be in their position.

hex was born on a small island kingdom, she grew up as the apprentice to a fisherman. hex was an orphan, she had no parents to keep her a respectable lady, and so she went rouge. after completing her apprenticeship, she set sail to leave her small island and explore the world. pirating became her game, her way of earning money. after a while, she realized that it wasn’t a game, and she was affecting lives. some years after, hex had her own crew and ship.

the ship had docked at the port, posing as a merchant’s ship ready to trade goods. well, stolen goods anyway. 'hey mates!' a strong voice called from the helm, a tan face staring at the crew. 'looks like we’re almost to land!' the crew cheered, but not loudly. 'now get back to work!' hex snapped when everyone had their time cheering. her black eyes looked forwards to the land on the horizon. hex and her crew swapped ships a lot, because what would happen of someone recognized her pirate ship? right now they were riding the tsunami. they had stolen it from a few merchants that had come from a kingdom far away.
hex came down from the helm to help her crew anchor the boat down. they docked with the reset of the merchants. where the true merchants docked. 'hex-' one of the crew started.
'not hex, when we’re here it’s captain nancy, remember?' hex, now taking the name of captain nancy, smiled at the cabin boy. he was new, so she would forgive him. but the next time she probably wouldn’t be as nice. a small name slip could be bad for business. 'what is it?' the boy shook his head and backed away.
a few minutes later, nancy was on the land in merchant’s attire. she smiled and tipped her hat at passerby. nancy wasn’t that good with formal things, but in order to pull this off she would have to be.

Rosalina's eyes fluttered open as the bright light of the sun streamed through her windows. She turned on her side to see that her handmaiden was opening them, signaling that it was time to wake up. The princess groaned as she stumbled out of bed, she had wanted to sleep in much longer than this. Alas, she had to wake up as a long day of preparations awaited he. She was to be wed to the prince of Regagonth, so she needed to look her best. This was not what she had planned for her life, especially because of the fact that she was not attracted to men at all. But this marriage would save her country from war, and she did want the best for her country. She didn't understand why one of her other sisters could have been married off, but she had no choice.
She frowned as she sat down at her dresser and watched as her maid began to run a brush through her long brunette hair. She winced as the brush ran through a knot that had formed through the night. This was the worst part of the morning, her curly hair always resulted in knots throughout the night. She stayed quiet, only sighing softly every once in a while as her hair was pulled back into a appropriate hairstyle. Her makeup was done well before she was released to go down to eat her breakfast. She ate the eggs and toast that was waiting there for her, listening to her sisters talk amongst themselves as she did so. She felt all of their eyes on her as they talked, knowing they were all dreading her absence. She was dreading leaving as well, marrying a man wasn't exactly what she wanted to do. Well, it was the least thing that she wanted to do as well.

'what do you have for trade?' nancy said as she grinned at another merchant. merchants often traded amongst themselves, and the faster she could get the stolen goods off her ship and on to another’s the better. she didn’t want to be stuck in the kingdom of argatha. nancy the didn’t like how uptight everyone was.
that was when she realized that she had looked away from the merchant in front of her. 'not many things. business has been slow. maybe check august? he always has something for trade this time of year..' the merchant trailed off, and started to turn around to organize his things 'don't know how he does it.. sometimes I think he cuts deals with pirates..' the merchant left into a different room, still muttering about something. the last part was in a whisper, but nancy caught it. hm.. a merchant who traded with pirates? she should stay away from him, then. he could recognize her.
nancy nodded her thanks, even though the merchant was gone and wouldn’t see her. she turned around herself to try another merchant. the area here was rich.. well, the people were. most walked around like they didn’t even know someone could pickpocket them. it was sort of sad, nancy said in her thoughts. but then again, they made it easy for they’re poorer citizens to steal things. nancy herself wasn’t that good of a pickpocket or a thief, but she was good a pirating. she was good at threatening people, too. most of her threats were fake, but the way she acted them out made people believe her.

Rosalina sighed as she excused herself from the table and headed outside to watch her luggage be taken down to the royal ship that was waiting for her. she looked over her old home frowning as she did so. she was going to miss all of it, the stables, her room, the throne room, and the theater where she had preformed plays as a child. she jumped as she heard a sergeant boy running towards her. “woah there,” she said with a soft giggle escaping from her lips. she saw his worried expression and frowned, that was never good. “the ship is nowhere to be found!” he said fearfully. she shook her head, how was that possible? she had to leave today! there was no exception for that. “let me go see if there’s anyone else who can take me,” she said trying to calm the boy down. it wasn’t his fault so there was no need for the amount of anxiety that seemed to be radiating off of him.
rosalina frowned as she went to the stables to get her trusty horse Samson. She would ride him into town and look for any merchants who were willing to take her to her destination. she would pay them a large sum of money for the favor of course. an amount that only a fool would turn down. she grabbed the bag of money from its hiding place quickly before heading down into the busy town. her emerald eyes shifted back and forth looking for someone to ask. she asked quite a few but was turned down time and time again. she began to feel quite discouraged as she came upon a blonde female with striking blue eyes. she got off of her horse once again and carefully approached the woman. “hello, is there any possible way you could take me to regagonth?” She asked, looking up at the woman with worried eyes. if she didn’t get there as soon as she said she would, that could mean trouble for her city. “please captain i will pay you greatly, as soon as i get on the ship in fact.” she said timidly. she was at this woman’s mercy, and she already was a humble enough person. she pulled the bag of coins out of her pocket to prove that she had the money with her.

nancy eyed the bag with hungry eyes. that looked like a lot of money, and judging by the girl’s clothes, she was royalty. she wanted to take the job so badly, but how would her crew be able to act formal all the way to regagonth? how would they be able to support royalty?
'hello, your highness? sorry ma'am I don’t know what to call you. normally we don’t carry passengers,' nancy said while trying to smile and be polite. she wasn’t sure how to get out of this. nancy could hear the worry in her voice, the girl needed to get somewhere fast. 'the names nancy by the way.' nancy blinked once. pay as soon as the girl got on the ship? now that was a deal she usually took, but then again, nancy didn’t deal with royalty. 'how fast to do you need to get there?' by now nancy had turned to the girl who had approached her fully. she had her hair done up in a way nancy normally didn’t see, and her dress.. it all basically confirmed that she was royalty.

“you can just call me rosalina... i’m not one for all the formalities anyways. but if you do prefer you can add a princess before my name. some people prefer formalities...” rosalina replied with a polite smile in the woman’s direction. “it’s nice to meet you nancy. i just need to get there as soon as possible. my ship is very behind, which can stir up quite a bit of trouble with the regagonth kingdom. you know how they are,” she told the captain, sighing softly. “if you cannot take me it’s quite alright.. i’ll just have to ask around a bit more and hopefully someone will take the offer.” she said, frowning up at the princess after speaking. she was twisting her ring around her middle finger as she spoke, a nervous habit she had since she was old enough to wear rings. “please, just take me. i do not care on which ship i go... i just need to get there. i know it’s quite the inconvenience but i do fear for my country.” she pleaded as she looked up at the captain with sorrowful eyes.

we can take you! nancy said immediately and quickly. there was no way she would pass up all that money. her crew would just had to deal with it. is it just you in your party? nancy then asked, because she was sure that nancy and her crew couldn’t handle more than one uptight and rich person aboard without stealing from them. but anyways, the money that rosalina had taken out could fund them for two years, maybe more. nancy flashed another smile in the princess’ direction. isn’t that basically what princesses did? smile and curtsy and.. god, they did weird things! how could a girl stand to survive that? did they do it for their country? that made nancy glad she didn’t have a country to defend or serve. she had no ties, expect one to the sea. and she liked it that way..
