Daniel flew for a day straight. To be precise, 27 and a half hours. He only stopped once for a few hours to sleep in a far city, and buy a meal {Although he had to exchange his money to get something}, rested once more and then started flying again. He soared over a large stretch of water and landed in a desert. It was hot and he didn’t want to fly in the heat because he didn’t want what happened last time to happen again.
The redhead found what he was looking for, a circle of cacti all the exact same height. He then started to dig, soon unearthing a large chest which contained a dusty old book, which Daniel put in his bag. He buried the chest again and walked out of the desert, the large book already weighing him down. Begrudgingly, Daniel picked up the book and flew back to the city, his wings aching terrible. He decided to head back to his base, and read up again, resting his only means of transportation.
