personality: arrogant but careful is the perfect way to describe ramsey. he is a gambler, in both war and conversation. though it's a more careful and thoroughly planned gamble rather than an impulsive one. he is intelligent and witty and has as much bite as he does bark, though he loves to use his words. his words are malicious with a honeyed tone, a friendly welcoming smile with cold eyes. he doesn't care for this little rebellion, but rather enjoys the challenge it brings.

history: ramsey apollyon jaegar, named for his grandfather ramsey and after a place of destruction. his father was general and friend of the king, as their family had always been. they were known for their loyalty and closeness to the royal bloodline, not in a thousand years had any one of their family members did anything to disgrace the crown. ramsey himself was not first pick to inherit the rank of general despite his close friendship with the crown prince, his older brother was a much more promising choice. however as fate would have it, when the rebellion begun, his brother was one of the first to respond and the first to fall victim. luckily enough, ramsey had been trained and lying in the shadows for his opportunity to step into the sun, and he did. as tradition, he gained his fathers abilities through his ashes and became the next general. he was questioned in all that he did, but his arrogance was proved to have truth to it as he quickly exceeded their and his father's expectations.

It is made of his father's ashes so he had inherited his abilities and memories, most predominately, his leadership skills. He has a tattoo of a sword on his left calf. It is made of his mother's ashes so he has inherited her abilities and memories, most predominately, her first aid abilities and knowledge.

About him: Ezra is a man of many diverse talents. He is a true soldier and has been in this war since he has been sixteen. Yes, it was illegal for him to join so early but having his father as the captain of the force had it's perks. He took over the Rebels force when his father died in a battle for resources. He is a focused and driven individual. He has great organizational and time management skills and is never afraid to trust his gut. He does, however, carry a lot of baggage and burdens from the war. He is a man of justice and slowly he is becoming the face of the rebellion. Everyone will know who Mercury is. This causes trouble however but he is willing to sacrifice his life for the greater good. He promised his mother that before she passed in an attack on the rebel base infirmary.

The past few weeks were filled with tons of scattered Rebel activity. Outbursts in several different areas, the only thing in common being how close they were to government bases and the small number of attendee's. There had been more gatherings and riots in the last two weeks than in the last couple of months. He leaned back in his desk chair, hand coming up to cup his chin in a thoughtful look. The map before him was laid out carefully, each red mark signifying where any sign of activity had been reported. His head lifted as the door opened, taking his time to lean forward, eyes still focused on the map. "Is everything ready then?" He asked, answered with a firm 'yes, sir'. He nodded in response, hand leaning on the desk as he rose from his chair. The only sound being the scraping of the chair as he inhaled deeply.

"I want everything to go as planned, do you understand? If they escape from out under us, each and every one of you will pay the price." He waited for a response before grinning, blowing out the candles with a wink. The light from the hallway made his yellow eyes gleam menacingly as he gave the two soldiers by the doorway a firm grip on the soldier. "No pressure!" He added, moving swiftly out of the room as he made his way to one of the most secure positions in the building. One that he could direct from. He would've called it a lucky gut feeling if not for the gears turning rapidly in his brain still. They were planning an attack, a big one. He had stationed troops to each and every government base, sending out an alert. Still, this one had to be it.

Ramsey wouldn't be here if he wasn't at least ninety-nine percent sure, but he wanted to be positive before he threw himself into the midst of action. He knew they were attacking, but he still didn't know how. That didn't stop him from coming up with several different plans however, and he made sure everyone was prepared. He'd stomp these little rebels into the ground, whatever sparks they'd stirred would be diminished by the time he was through with them.

Erza Alexander Mercury

Erza chuckled to himself as he looked down at the map in front of himself and his most trusted generals as they stood in the rebel tent, in a meeting. It seemed like the night attacks on the government bases had been a success. "They wouldn't be succeeding as much if the government wasn't dumb enough to constantly send archers out to defend their bases...at night ." One of the generals spoke which caused the tent to light up in laughter. It was always good to keep oneself in good spirits during times such as these.

"Well, seems like our next step would be to attack those precious crops they seem to be tending to so lovingly..." One of the other generals spoke. "A little arson perhaps? If you cut off their food supply then surely their will to fight will dwindle as well." Another responded and Erza shook his head.

"Do you not think that is exactly what they would be thinking that we would attack." Erza responded to them all. "That is why we will be attacking their secondary base over here..." He explained as he gestured to the building a bit farther from their crop supply. "Last I heard it holds most of their water and medical supplies so we shall attack, raid, and then burn it." He grinned.

"Yes sir!" The rebellion spoke before they piled out of the tent to begin on their own preparations for the assault that night.

Two bases were at the top of his priority, a main base located near where the majority of their crops were harvested and the second stockpiling their medicine. Both bases were well stocked and a necessity, but long hours of thinking and planning led him to go with his gut. They'd attack the secondary base, cutting off food was one thing but medicine was entirely another matter.

He had guards stationed inside, right outside, and a couple of men a bit aways from the base as to close them in. He wouldn't let them run out from under his clutches. He was positive that his plan would work, it curled his lips into a smirk. Envisioning the plan the rebels thought was so clever being the very thing that'd lead to their demise.

carefully, he moved closer to the entrance, he was protected by sturdy walls on every side just in case of an explosion. he gave quiet orders for the people on the outside to prepare themselves. now it was just a matter of waiting

Erza Alexander Mercury

Ezra knew that the government was going to try and capture all of them in one fell swoop. That is why he divided up his officals and kept some at the base and some came with him. He knew they just needed to find one of their resource holding locations. It would be beneficial if it was their medical supply or food storage But any sabotage of the resources and necessities required to run the government side of the war would be a victory towards the rebellion. He knew that it would not be smart to lead the government side towards the rebel base so he gathered his group of soldiers and himself and headed out.

"Keep on your guard everyone, you never know what could be lurking in the shadows during our raid..." Ezra spoke as he looked at them all. "Keep your hands on your weapons at all times and be ready to shoot to kill." He grinned, always loving to witness the bloodshed of taking down government soldiers. The only good government official was a dead one.

Smirking to himself as the base they were planning on raiding and burning came into view, he increased his pace with the men. Spotting a few officials, without hesitation, they began to open fire on them. Ezra looking down his scope, aiming to pick them off one by one. Other weapons designed to create explosions and fires were fired at and over the walls of the base. The aim was to cause as much trouble as possible and cause as much damage as possible as they raided.
