so has any of the mods ever seen 18+ content on cs? or is it a risk of something thats never happened?

some people wouldnt mind taking the job if it never happened before, but some wouldnt wanna take the job if 18+ content happened before

Unfortunately it does happen and we do often have to deal with viewing content which is highly inappropriate or R-rated. This is why we ask users to only apply to the global mod position if they are 18+, and do ask on the application if they would be comfortable dealing with reports involving inappropriate content.

To put it bluntly, you’re at risk of seeing this content pretty much wherever you go on the internet. On CS we have systems in place that prevents most of this kind of content from being made public in the first place so the chances of you seeing it are quite low. Like any other similar system it can’t prevent everything, but any mature content that’s found is often made aware to us very quickly and removed as soon as possible ^^
