- xxxShe could sense the thirst for action in the eyes of her comrades. They needed this. The council hadn't so much as batted an eyelash at their previous stunts, refusing to so much as humor the Banata cause. But Mirai was determined to have her voice - and the voices of so many others - heard above the clamor of any other chamber discussion. Her gaze fell to Cai, who offered to gather further intelligence, which Mirai knew they would undoubtedly need in order for the plan to succeed. She nodded to that, and felt encouraged by Zyri's playful wink and comment, but she became very still at the mention of the other person by the Princess' side. Behind the mask, she tightened her jaw, but it was Rikka who spoke up in response to that. She was all for the plan, and evidently was not concerned about the stranger, who she wouldn't hesitate in murdering right then and there. It was a disturbing thought for Mirai. She did not condone murder, regardless of the group's aims and visions. This movement started out as peaceful protests, and the last thing Mirai wanted was for Banata to be painted as a gang of ruthless murdering criminals all through the press. It would only hinder their progress, if they were so distinctively shown to be the bad guys. They relied on the people of Republic City to see their cause as good, so that it could be supported rather than confronted by the very people that Banata had set out to aid in the first place. The waterbender was always so confident in the gang's abilities, and Mirai had good faith in them all as well - but as Cai had pointed out, it would be worth knowing more before heading blindly into action. With her hands clasped tight behind her back, she watched as Rikka moved to the next room and returned a moment later with a bundle in her arms. The group automatically looked to her with curiosity - as the Visionary of the group, she was the one with the brains to think outside the box when it came to weapons and combat strategy. A small smile curled on Mirai's lips as she observed Rikka's grand reveal of her various experiments - an electric glider for Zyri, a boomerang-switchblade for Lee, a stone sword for Cai, and fans for Rikka herself. Her hand instinctively glided over the pair of glocks in her waistband, stashed from view but easily accessible. Nodding, Mirai looked at each member of the group, feeling confident. They each had their strengths and they were a real team, weaving together seamlessly. Her gaze fell on Rikka and she nodded in appreciation. "Your vision makes us strong, Rikka. Thank you." The statement was simple and clean-cut, but genuine and thankful. She watched as each person tested their new weapon, smiles of satisfaction and twinkling eyes all through the room. As Cai spoke about strategy, Mirai's attention was returned to the map once more as she gestured with her hands.
- xxx"I say we split up. I'll enter the apartment with Rikka to ambush them inside. Cai, Lee and Zyri, you can scout up the street and keep us informed on their arrival, making to move in towards the apartment as they enter, but at least one of us should stay outside to keep an eye on the street - we don't want any coppers on patrol to catch us before we get out. We immobilize the skunk. We do not commit murder," her eyes flashed to Rikka as she arched an eyebrow behind her mask in warning. Her index finger traced a circle around the apartment block and up along the street as she spoke, before gliding across the city to a secondary base towards the north. Another empty warehouse, indistinguishable among hundreds of others so similar. She traced another circle about it with her finger. "We take the Princess to this base and hold her there, while we broadcast out across the city's media about her capture and our insistence to speak with the council. Then we come to an agreement about her release and negotiation of the laws involving the Avatar." Mirai stepped back from the map and clasped her hands behind her back once more, her tone serious and cool, as she looked at her comrades - her friends, her family. "I understand that this is a risky endeavor. If anybody feels unsure about it, please speak up. We do this as a team or we don't do it at all."
