Born a princess Yura has always felt like she needed to prove that she was more than that. Her father had made it clear that he'd prefer a son to inherit the chiefdom and as a child Yura realized that his expectations for her future didn't align with her own. Driven by a desire to prove her father wrong Yura worked diligently in her lessons not only as a healer but a warrior. Though she began to excel at both Yura found that she was pulled to healing more so than she was to combat, it felt good to heal people of their ailments and if she ever got hurt exploring the city no one would ever have to know. The young princess began to understand what it meant to be chief and the lives that she'd be in charge of protecting. As she began to understand more what being chief meant her father got what he'd always wanted when Yura's brother was born. Though she loves her baby brother the princess can't help the small voice in the back of her head that tells her he might be better at leading than her. Feeling that she had something to prove not only to herself but the voices around her Yura began to push herself harder, often past her limits, so that she could demonstrate her worth.

Having grown up on Air Temple Island, Jinpa learned many crucial skills to being an airbender, such as meditation and her own spiritual connection. However, the tranquil life wasn't what she wanted. She carefully considered what she wanted and what she could do, and reached the conclusion to leave her home and head into Republic City. There would be plenty of opportunities for her to explore and experience life in a new way but still be close to her family. Jinpa loves to connect with people and make them smile however she can. She believes in the power of kindness and honesty, her gentle spirit is something that has gotten her in trouble more than once. Once the young airbending master sets her sights on a goal, it would take quite a lot to change her focus or make her drop the idea. She follows through on her promises and puts others before herself in any way she can. Jinpa is also a highly sensitive person when it comes to emotions-especially those of other people. It might have to do with her spiritual training, but Jinpa can often sense when someone is doing well or not, if they're lying, or she should stay with someone or leave them alone. Despite her cheery and sensitive personality, Jinpa actually keeps her own emotions locked down. She doesn't let her sadness or worry come to the surface when others are around. eyes, mechanical left arm. wears a mask with the yin portion of yin-yang on the forehead;
never reveals her face at rallies, only in private, not even to her fellow rebels. orphaned at
the age of 14, crippled and on the streets at age 16. lost her left arm in a riot aged 15. mirai
grew up in the slums and riots over food, poverty, etc were very common. however, the riot
against the nobility of the earth kingdom resulted in earthbenders running chaotic, thus
mirai was trapped in an alleyway, and came out of the conflict crippled. she could no
longer work in the factory making weapons for the military, and ended up homeless for lack
of income to fund herself. during this time, she fell into a lot of trouble with the
city police, for petty crimes such as shoplifting. mirai has an uncommonly strong will to
survive through adversity: she found solace in meditation, and came to have visions and
communications with creatures of the spirit world. she saw the rift in the world - both
spiritual and physical - and wanted to change it. why should the people provide for the
nobility, who lavished in all sorts of luxuries, while they lay in the slums, breaking their
backs for the benefit of the wealthy? the spirits were unsettled, everything was out of
balance - and she knew that it was the avatar's responsibility to bring balance, but with
no avatar seemingly reincarnated into the cycle, it became evident to mirai what she must
do. the avatar had brought on more war than peace through their cycles - more despair and
poverty, suffering and loss. she set about making herself strong and able again: she stole
what she needed, traded and scammed her way in order to get the necessary tools and
materials to craft herself a mechanical arm. with this, she would be able to work again.
it was a little bit clunky at first, and the process of fitting it was painful beyond measure -
but she was viciously determined to carry out her work, that she forced herself through,
improving the mechanics until her metal arm was as competent as her real one. she was
able to work in the factory again, making weapons, and soon she was earning enough to
get off the streets - and once she was off the streets, the real task began. she raised the
people of ba sing se's slums up into the light, showing them the truth of the world - that
the avatar was the most destructive thing to the peace and balance of nature. she proved
her validity with her ability to communicate with spirits - much more accessible, ironically,
thanks to avatar korra. the people rose up and they became quite the nuisance, initially
with peaceful protests that were retaliate and forced into silence by the military mirai
had spent most of her life providing weapons to. furious at being put down, she officially
founded banata at age 20 and turned to more forceful means of making her voice heard.
she'd spent her life making weapons - now she was able to make them for herself. bombs
were her specialty, but guns were in her arsenal as well. now, with her word spread all
across the earth kingdom and spreading further afield, mirai is even more determined to
remove the avatar from power, once and for all.

► Grew up in the Lower Ring of Ba Sing Se, Cai quickly got used to living in a world filled with crime and backstabbing. Her mother died when she was six which lead father to drinking. He was a cruel drunk. Whenever he became truly drunk he would take out his anger on the world on Cai. When she was young she would use the little knowledge she had of her earth bending to create a barricade against her bedroom door to keep her father away. She would spend as little time home as she possibly could. Cai would often wander around the slums trying to find things to do that would hold her from going home. To make fast cash she would fight in underground fighting rings which served as a duel purpose of helping her get her anger out.
► A tea shop owner took pity on her and would let her work there washing dishes in the afternoon after school. He soon became the only adult she felt she could trust. He would patch her up from whatever injury her drunk of a father would give her the night before or whatever injury she would have from her time in the fighting ring.
► One day when she was seventeen or so, she was taking out her anger bending and breaking large boulders when she ended up melting one. This lead her to training herself how to lava bend. She first found it could only happen when she was lashing out, but taught herself that if she properly harnessed her anger she could control the flow with ease.
► During a night at the fight club she overheard a conversation about a group that was moving against the Avatar and what they stand for. At first she thought it was nonsense and a waste of time, but the more she thought about it the more she could see the appeal. The Avatar was supposed to bring balance into the world, supposed to protect the weak... yet whenever a new Avatar was discovered war would soon break out. How was that protecting the world? The next time she went to the club she approached one of the woman who was talking about the movement. They talked well into the night about the cause of the group, the name, and so much more. Cai soon agreed to join the movement.

Who knew fighting could bond two people? These two get along rather well. It isn't uncommon to see these two sparring whenever things are slow or whenever one of them needs a way to get any pent up emotions out. He is also there to listen to her off of the mat when she is ready to open up.

Cai has great respect for Rikka. Cai can tell that she has just as much if not more rage within her. Rikka teaches Cai water bending moves to help improve her lava bending. The graceful moves of water bending is completely different than Cai's rough movements when she bends yet when they work together their bending ways compliments one another.

Zyri is a bundle of sunshine that originally pissed Cai off. How could someone be so freaking happy? Once they got to know one another Cai loved how happy Zyri was. She was always there to cheer her up and make her smile.

Hamako is short-tempered,
he is slowly learning the ways
of the nomad, in hopes, he can
rein in his wild side. Over time,
he has grown to be calm and
collected,he cherishes alone time
to obtain the peace he seeks within
himself, since he has yet to find
someone to keep him at ease.
Mako takes most issues seriously, it
is difficult for him to let loose and
just have fun, but the right person
maybe able to bring it out in him.
Emotions seem easy to him, though
he doesn't have experience feeling
certain emotions, due to the strict
upbringing, he does know how to
portray many and has a talent/skill
in manipulating situations by invoking
emotions that are not there. Mako
would never intentionally hurt anyone
who did not deserve it, but he is known
to haphazardly cause miscommunications.

history;
Growing up poor,
Hamako is no stranger to
struggling in adversity. It even
stole the lives of his parents
and all he had left was his
twin brother, Shou. The boys
were forced to grow up at the
young age of 14 and had no time
for things like bending, they were
too busy trying to survive. Around
the age of 16, their crimes against
poverty caught up to them, and
they were separated. At first, Mako
was sent to the air temples, in hopes
the way of the air nomads would
soothe and tame his wild personality,
but things did not go as planned. He
was separated from the one person
he had left and he was angry. A small
hint at shaving his head to fit in with
his new family and culture, had Mako
explosive, he nearly destroyed the
gardens. Upon discovering his
firebending, he was sent to the
appropriate nation, where he received
a much more strict and structured
family. It was good for him though,
he managed to rein in his anger and
channel it into being productive, and
quite the skilled fighter. It wasn't until
he managed that when he was visited in
his dreams by the late Avatar. Mako's hair
turned snow-white, his eyes had even
changed. His family found him the next
morning levitating over his bed, he was
airbending. Some days later, his hair had
deepened back to black and his eyes an
icy blue- an odd side effect of dipping his
toes into the spirit realm, but four years
later and it doesn't seem so strange, he
only wishes he knew what happened to his
other two elements, and whatever became
of his twin brother.
Half of him was missing.

Born already second in line for the throne Haruto never felt like he was in competition with his sibling to inherit the throne. Even as a child being fire lord didn't seem all that appealing, though perhaps that was because Haruto was an unusually thoughtful and quiet child. Everywhere the young fire prince looked he could see motive in a game that he wasn't interested in playing and yet in order to thrive he learned how to play the game. Though he showed skill in diplomacy Haruto found he was more drawn to improving his skills as a firebender and began to train in the fire nation army and rise within its ranks. Strong and capable Haruto grew into a great warrior and a competent commander, and though he was told that this era of peace would last Haruto knew that people weren't built for that. In general, Haruto didn't trust people, sure there were exceptions, but not many. However, those few exceptions to the young prince were worth all of the greedy and deceitful people. This belief was put to the test when a group calling themselves Banta rose up in Republic City and began wreaking havoc. When news came that his sister had been caught up in violent protests it steeled Haruto's resolve to put a stop to this chaos. Perhaps if he can't believe in the good of humanity, he can look for it in the avatar.
