She finished just at 8:40, she sighed then put Stella away and grab her car keys. Once she got their she met Jordan outside of the cafe . She was curious why all of the sudden they agreed to meeting her. She smiled, “hey.” She said softly

His mother smiled and held out a hand. “Hello, dear. My, it must be exciting, being famous and all, right? I bet you’re very busy most of the time. Do you do homeschooling, private school or public school?”

She shook his moms hand gently “I guess you could say that, I go to a private school.” She said, her school was very expensive to even get inrolled, not including the classes.

“Are you planning on going to a college or university when you graduate? Jordan here has been accepted by quite a few different well-known universities, but he already knows which one he’s going to.” Derick got them a table and the three sat down. Jordan smiled at her, gesturing for her to sit next to him.

She sat down next to Jordan, not really knowing how his parents would react. “University mam.. Harvard to be specific.” She said. His father was pretty much staring a wall into Evie.

Sasha smiled. “An Ivy League school, quite impressive. Did you hear that, Derick?” He looked at her. “What?” He clearly hadn’t been listening. “Her goal is to attend Harvard. I’m sure you’ll get accepted if you haven’t already.”

“I’ve already been accepted, thankfully” she said, she looked over at Jordan, who still hasn’t said a word. She wondered why.

“Jordan, tel you friend, which school did you choose?” His mother turned to him. He laughed. “Which school did I choose? That’s interesting, Mom, because you never gave me that choice. You never even gave me the choice of picking which schools I wanted to apply to.” She sighed. “You want to do this right now, in front of your friend, the first time we are meeting her?” He shook his head and fell silent again.

She waited until his parents were talking to hold Jordan’s hand under the table, she rubbed his palm to calm him down. She glanced at Jordan then back at his parents. “ well not to be rude or anything but I think Jordan should have his choice of which school he attends, I would believe that all of them are good schools and aren’t very different.” She said.

“Well, yes, there are many good schools. However, Jordan knows the steps he must take to secure a bright future for himself. Trust the process, Jordan. You’ll thank me later, but I won’t be able to hear you through all the money surrounding you.”
