Mason shook his head and sighed, he walked to the kitchen to see Mackenzies boyfriend. He smiled slightly “nice meeting you” he said then listened.

Mackenzie smiled hearing what Aaron said, she stood beside him.

Aaron looked up as her father walked in. "Hello, sir. How are you today?" He looked over as another young man stormed downstairs to yell, "Thanks, Mackenzie, you ruined my life!" He frowned, grabbing him by the collar of his shirt. "Don't talk to her like that. Apologize."

She frowned “babe let him go, he’s just mad.” She said and got his hand off of Luke’s collar. She looked at Luke “you wouldn’t have gotten in big trouble if you would’ve thought before you did things.” She was right their, he honestly wouldn’t have gotten in trouble at all if he would have just thought about it.

"Okay." He let go of the boy.

"Well, that's who I am and if you can't love me for who I am, guys, then I don't want to be here!" Luke exclaimed. Anna glared at him. "Go take a shower to cool off, and then stay in your room for the rest of the night, Luke."

Mackenzie looked over at her mom then at Aaron. After they had dinner it was pretty much her parents asking and talking to Aaron about things.

"So, Aaron, what classes did you take while you were growing up, and what were your grades?" Anna asked. "I took all Honors whenever it was possible, and I always had all A's. ma'am." He replied, petting Sadie

Mason smiled “and your parents are the owners of the big ranch down the road, correct?” Mason asked.

Mackenzie smiled, Sadie wagged her tail then pawed at the door wanting to go outside.

Aaron nodded. "Yes, sir." He got up to let Sadie out. He came back in with a frown. "Sir, ma'am, there's a lot of stuff on the ground outside your house. An electric guitar, speakers, posters, things that look like they would belong in a bedroom."

Mason frowned “Luke got frustrated and threw his stuff out his window, Anna I think we need to do something else then just this, apparently he doesn’t get the point.” Mason said to Anna. Mackenzie looked at Aaron then back at her parents, she hadn’t talked a lot since Aaron got their but it wasn’t because of him.

"Yes, but else can we do? We took everything he doesn't need." She replied. Aaron took Mackenzie's hand in his. "You're being awfully quite, sweetie, is there anything wrong?"
