“Let’s go see how he’s doing.” Brooklyn went out to the car with her mother, waiting for Cassie.

“Do you trust my dad alone with the twins?” Cassie asked.

Maria hesitated. “No. And I’m the only one he promised not to hurt, so I’ll stay behind with them. You two go ahead.” She said, heading back into the house.

Once she was inside the house, Maria went to the nursery to find the twins.

Brooklyn drove towards the hospital, parking once she got there and heading to Jordan’s room with Cassie’s hand in hers.
