⊰ ✧ ── appearance : aspen is... a relatively short furred dog, who stands just a little smaller than the average husky. she has the body and build of that of a husky with large noticable elements of a german shepard. she also has some of the typical markings of a husky, however, some parts of her fur are clearly the colours of a german shepard or shibu inu. she has rather bussy tail which she likes to bat around and play with. she also has elegant silvery, white whiskers, as well as warm chocolate brown eyes which can warm the heart of even the most coldest person.

⊰ ✧ ── personality short : aspen is... gentle, caring, out-going, friendly, energetic, cuddler, stubborn, determined, hard-worker, judgemental, sarcastic, has trust issues, impatient with purebreeds, intelligent.
⊰ ✧ ── personality long : aspen ... may be a bubbly, energetic dog who loves nothing more than rough play with her humans or some sleepy, comfortable snuggles on the couch during the late evening, but she does have elements of her personality that have changed due to being abandoned by her previous owners. for instance, she now has trust issues and finds it hard to immediately trust a human-like she used to, for fear they may abandon her again. she also now has a fear of sleeping alone at night, and so prefers to have human or dog company when sleeping. some traits the did not change are her stubbornness, sarcasticness, and impatience with purebred dogs who try to remind her how much 'better' they are compared to her. she rarely likes to indulge them, often telling them to leave her alone or outright ignoring them, however, sometimes she can flash a few sarcastic remarks back to 'indulge' them so to speak, being as sarcastic as she can until they get off her tail. she is incredibly determined to prove to all pure breeds that a mutt/crossbreed can be just as loved, and prettier, as purebreds, and dreams of attending competitions during the future. she is a highly energetic dog, rarely staying still, unless its for cuddles.

⊰ ✧ ── quirks : when she is asking a question or is confused, her head tilts to the left, and her left ear sticks upright, whilst her right ear flops

⊰ ✧ ── history : aspen used to be called Desna which is Inuit for 'boss' she never really was a bossy dog but its what her owners called her. she grew up living on a farm with her father, obi, and mother, Athena, living on the farm next door. she loved being in contact with them. often running through the fields to play with them as a puppy. as she grew older her parent's owners helped train her to be a farm dog, a hunting dog and guard dog. she never really got the knack of being a guard dog, always wanting to befriend any human, but she made a pretty decent hunting dog. she loved being with her human family and was overjoyed when they brought back two smaller humans. realising these small humans were their pups, she felt very protective and rarely left their sides. however, her humans could no longer afford the time or money to keep the farm and its animals and look after their two new babies. so they sold the far and travelled far away, where they eventually, with heavy hearts dropped Desna of underneath an aspen tree in the dead of night, leaving a crying dog behind, frightened and confused. she has recently been found by some new owners, who already have a dog of their own, a purebred, can the two overcome their differences and be friends? perhaps more? or will they always be enemies? ⊰ ✧ ⊱
