XXX"I don't think anyone saw.. besides, I was slightly hidden anyways.." She nervously replied, sitting down in the car. The car ride back to the mall was quite quiet, except for some sneezes and coughs along the way. They reached the mall, and Rori glanced around for her car. After seeing it was intact, she motioned at the main mall door. "Shall we enter?" She asked them.

“Yeah, sure.” Noemi agreed, going through the doors without opening them. “Emi! Be careful! People could’ve been watching!” He said. “But they weren’t.” She panted, clearly fatigued. “You want water or something? You tired? Need to sit down?” Jordan asked. She shook her head. “I’m fine. Should we split up? I go my own way and you two go somewhere else?” Jordan wanted to say no and yes, both for the same reason: he’d be alone with Rori and had the chance to work up the guts to tell her.

XXX"Oh yeah sure, we can split up. Stay out of trouble though!" She replied, waving goodbye to Noemi. "Sooo..." She said to Jordan after they were out of earshot from Noemi. "Whatcha wanna do?" She asked, trying her best not to blush. In the moment, Jordan and Rori were walking so close that their shoulders were almost touching.

“I’ll try! I don’t entirely control whatever this is.” She chuckled, walking off the opposite way.

“Uh, you wanna go eat? You said you were hungry, and we didn’t get to eat at the sushi place.” His emotions were all over the place. This was a good thing, he could finally tell her about his feelings. But no, what if he got nervous and screwed it up and ruined any chances of her ever liking him back? He couldn’t make up his mind and finally decided to hope that his luck was up today. “Hey, do you, uh, like anyone at our school?”

XXX "Yeah, lets get some food! How about.. burgers? I'm not sure." She replied to Jordan, leading him over to where the Cafeteria was. After being asked about liking anyone, she answered: "Uhh.. yeah. I do. Why do you ask?"

“Burgers sounds good! Let’s get burgers!” He made sure he had his wallet in his pocket before heading towards the restaurant. “Oh, um, I’m just curious. Wondering who could ever be impressive enough to catch your interest.” He said the last part pretty quietly, talking to himself. “Are they in our grade? Do I know them?”

XXX "Well.. yeah, you should know them truly by now!" She answered, getting a burger, then sitting down with Jordan at a 2 person table. Hm, is he making a move? She asked herself.

“Oh? W-why is that? Who is it?” His sudden curiosity obstructed the path of questions he had set out in his mind. Besides her, the only person he really knew at school was Noemi. Did his crush like his twin sister?

XXX"I-uh.. well.. he's.." She stammered, taking a bite of her burger to try escaping the awkward situation that she in fact liked Jordan.

“He?” Jordan tried hard to think of any male that he knew rather well and couldn’t find one. Elias? But he wasn’t that close with Elias. Unless Rori thought they were close. “Is-is it Elias?” He couldn’t see himself wanting to continue his friendship with Elias if Rori’s next word was yes or anything close to it. He crossed his fingers underneath the table, taking a bite of his burger with his other hand.
