XXX"Shhh! We-we need to get out of here." Rori stammered, grabbing their hands, and focussing, allowing them all to become invisible. She slowly and carefully led them all outside, into a nearby patch of trees. "I, like you two.. have powers. I have telekinetic abilities, and I can turn others and I invisible. My parents also have these powers, and so do many of us out there." She said, using her telekinetic abilities to twirl a stick around in the air.

“They can’t see what’s happening.” He told them. “What? We don’t have powers! We’re normal human beings!” Noemi said. “I thought that, too, until I touched a hot stove. Should’ve burnt me, but I didn’t feel a thing and my skin wasn’t burnt at all.” Jordan looked at her. “Noemi, we were never normal. I hoped to hide it from you longer than this, but I couldn’t think of a better explanation for what happened in there. I’m sorry I kept it a secret.” He looked at Rori. “So how long have you known?”

XXX "I was born in a home where my parents taught me I will receive powers once found a specific accessory. When I was 8, I went to a store one day and.. my choker connected to me. The next day, I turned invisible when I was mad at my parents. I knew from then I had invisibility. A few years later, I was out hiking a mountain with my friend Amber. A large boulder was aimed straight for her head, so I freaked out and.. threw it the other way with my mind. She.. she tried telling the Government about me, but nobody believed her. I still had to move away.. so my family and I moved here. Oh, also, if I take off my accessory... I turn into my spirit animal.. a hawk." She explained, fidgeting uncomfortably after finishing every sentence.

Jordan listened intently, looking down at his choker. “We’ve never taken ours off...what if we do the same thing?” He looked at Noemi’s bracelet. “This isn’t real. This can’t be real. What trick are you guys playing on me?!” He sighed. “Noemi, look at your hands. How could we fake that?” She looked at the hands that filtering in and out of appearance, shaking her head and running away. Jordan sighed and let her go, hoping she would come back. “Well, nothing seems to hurt me, and I can make people see what I want them to see. Those are my powers. And I don’t know why I have powers, but I tried pretending I didn’t, like we were normal. I barely used them and always watched Noemi to try and figure out if she was normal. She’s not, obviously.”

XXX "Here, I'll show you what happens..." Rori slowly slipped her choker off, making her slowly transform into a hawk. She then picked up the choker with her beak, and then transformed back human. "I bet if you do the same thing, you will find out that you will also turn into your spirit animal." She said, reaching into her pocket and pulling out her phone. Her phone read 5:32 PM. Luckily it was Friday, so they had the weekend the next day.

“Okay.” He stretched it over his head so it slipped off, looking at himself as his skin started turning black and he got smaller, feathers protruding from his arms. He slowly became a raven, going over to his chocked and sliding his head in, turning back. Noemi suddenly materialized beside him. “How’d you do that?” He screamed, falling over backwards from shock. “Tell me how you did that!” She repeated. “Once you tell me how you did that!” He snapped back.

XXX"G-guys!! Take your accessory and put it in your mouth to become human again!" She whisper-yelled at them, hoping nobody was watching. She glanced around them, hearing sirens wailing in the distance from the police arriving to arrest the man from earlier.

Jordan turned back quickly, looking at his sister. “I just made my whole body disappear. I realized I can control it, but it also happens when I’m like, scared or nervous.” He looked at the sirens. “Okay, stay calm, stay calm, you can’t start doing it in front of the police. Hopefully nobody rats you out.” He turned to Rori. “I don’t know how many people saw you. We have to get out of here.” He looked over at the police heading into the building. “Let’s get to the car.” He turned to leave

XXX"Well.. lets get out of here. We can hide out at the mall!" She whispered, gathering her stuff and emerging from the trees. She walked over to the car with them, watching from a distance as the police swarm the sushi restaurant.

“Okay. Noemi, come on....wherever you are.” He couldn’t find her. She appeared again, this time right beside Rori. “Can you still see us when you do that?” He asked. She nodded. “So, invisibility, or something like that?” She nodded once more, opening the car door and getting in. “I really hope you don’t, like, emit any radiation or energy when you do that, they could be scanning the area after hearing what Rori did from the witnesses.”
