The woman heard what Jayla said and stopped in the doorway. “Wait wait wait..... What? Did you just say that you like me....” she asked, shocked and surprised at Jayla’s comment. A human liking a werewolf was definitely a strange thing, since it rarely ever happens, at least as far as Rerina is aware. She glanced at Jayla, wondering if the words she spoke were true. When asked about dinner, it snapped her out of the trance and brought her back to reality. ”Yes we are and we can eat wherever you want. And also Hyti will make you want ever it is you want.” she said, pointing to the kitchen.

Ryder lowered his head when Keita asked about being startled. Yea it did.... I honestly have no idea what I was even thinking.... he said and then lifted his head when he felt Keita flick his tail across his chest. Ryder watched Keita carefully, and noticed that he was flirting with him. A soft chuckle rumbled in his chest as he walked by Keita, and flicked his tail across Keita’s shoulder. Seeing that the bedroom door was open, Ryder hesitated for a moment, debating on if he wanted to run out and find a way out or to just stay here with Keita. He turned to face the other male and had a little smirk on his face as he began to think of other ways to flirt back with the male.

The redhead hummed quietly, tilting her head with worry when Rerina stopped, hoping another threat wasn’t there...She squeaked and found herself going red when Rerina questioned her. She swallowed audibly, shaking her head back and forth a few times, wishing Rerina would stop her but she didn’t...She sighed as she tried to think of something to say, the right words, but clammed up when Rerina looked at her. She sighed with relief, obvious relief, when the wolf woman answered about dinner and such. She dipped her head and then raised it again, nodding. ”Meatloaf and mashed potatoes?” she asked.

(Sorry for Ooc instead of a post, but my question affects how I’ll write the post. So: since they’re both currently wolves, do you want Keita to run out the room, down the stairs, turn human and open the door, turn back to wolf and wait for Ryder, then they run through the woods together? With real wolves, that seems to lead to mating, so we’d have to fade again after writing that all out)

She wasn’t going to ignore what Jayla first said, but she would wait for the right moment to bring it up again. The wolf inside was going crazy, but she managed to calm her wolf down. When Jayla mentioned what she wanted for dinner, Rerina glanced at Hyri who nodded her head and whisked away towards the kitchen. Rerina made her way into the living room and plopped herself on the couch. There was a fire going, though it was slowly dimming, but still far off enough glow and heat in the room. To say she was exhausted was an understatement. The Wolf was drained, at least mentally. Today was one heck of a day. One she didn’t expect to even happen. First running int her ex that she absolutely despised. And then her ex’s little lackey or whatever she was, showed up trying to start a fight.

The black furred blue and amber eyed wolf nodded to the other male. “I’m sorry you had to be startled... Was it a potion?” he asked, head tilting a small little moment. He made a few small sounds when he flicked his tail across the red wolf male’s chest, then wagged a bit. If he was human right now he likely couldn’t have done that anyway, but if he were human right now he’d be blushing again. He squeaked as a tail flicked over his shoulder, tilting his head for a moment. He yipped and glanced to the door as well, seeming to think on some thing a moment. He twitched his ears and flicked his tail, then rushed out the door and down the stairs. At the front door, he shifted to open it then shifted back, standing there now and waiting for his lover/mate to come out.

”It’s okay. At least you’re here with me and not wanting to kill me. And yea it was a potion of some kind. Don’t know how long it’ll last for though....” he said with a shrug and then watched as his love dashed off. Slightly confused by it, Ryder tilted his head to one side and then decided to follow after him. He padded carefully down the stairs and paused at the doorway. Looking over at Keita who was waiting. The red wolf bolted through the door and glanced around him. Everything was so new to him in wolf form. Smells, hearing and even sight was better. Sniffing the air, the male tried to pick through all the scents and most were definitely unpleasant. Goodness how can humans even tolerate these smells? I may be human, but oh man those smells are ripe! Glad I can’t smell those in human form.... he told himself, wrinkling his nose at the stench.

The black furred blue and amber eyed wolf nodded to the other male. “Yes, I am here with you. So it was a potion...” he huffed, shaking his fur out a moment. He then had run for the bedroom door, then to the stairs, then down said stairs, honestly praying Ryder wouldn’t just stay up there...He twitched his ears as he waited at the now open front door, tail swishing back and forth gently. He yipped and wagged his tail now, as Ryder finally joined him, though jumped sideways as the red wolf bolted out...then huffed at the red wolf a bit, just a bit. He shook himself off again, ears twitching. His nose twitched a bit too, then he was watching Ryder. He couldn’t read minds or hear thoughts, obviously, only able to hear other wolves if they spoke directly to him. He hummed a canine sound then suddenly nipped Ryder, well seemingly suddenly. Tail wagging, he took off into the woods.

The male looked at his lover who took off for the woods. Tail wagging, the brute took off after him, heart pounding inside his chest. The feel of the wind rushing through his fur nearly sent chills down his spine. He was enjoying it, even if it was his first time being a wolf. Ryder would enjoy every moment being in wolf form till the potion ended.

[yeah...in the past how many years, so many of our pets died/had to be put to sleep because of diseases or medical conditions...my rat and my poodle were the hardest. Then my other rat stopped eating and drinking! They were brothers

The black furred blue and amber eyed wolf barked and wagged happily as he continued to run, looking back at Ryder. He rushed around a bend then down more of the path, a walking trail whether man made or already having existed. He soon stopped and spun back to Ryder, barking at him. He then turned and backed up to him, lifting his tail and...Fade

( I’ve lost a few over the years but I’m definitely not ready to lose either of my two dogs, especially my oldest. Had him since I was 14/15 years old. Not ready to let him go just yet. My other one is still young but things change at any given moment really.... and we just got him too, a year ago)

The green eyed brute let his tongue roll out of mouth and glanced at Keita. He nudged him and licked his cheek. His heart filled with pride and love whenever he was around the other male. Something that he has never felt for anyone else before. With Keita it was different and Ryder had such great fondness for the other wolf. Glancing up, he noticed that it was dark out and the moonlight was shining down from the trees. The red wolf wanted to run and play, since he wanted to experience more in this new body.


Something caught his attention and he snapped his head in the direction of the sound. Ears and eyes on full alert, searching for whatever it was that was out there. A scent of something unfamiliar to him made his lips curl and he felt himself get into a defensive stance. He stood close to Keita, touching shoulder to shoulder.

[our terrier should live until 14-16 years, but I always worry something could happen to her...plus our 3 or 4 year old (now) cats, well mine anyway.

The black furred blue and amber eyed wolf panted and shivered a bit when it was done, lying on the ground now and almost looking comical as he stretched out one hind leg. His tail flicked across the dirt ground a few times. He yipped and rolled onto his stomach as soon as he was nudged and licked, ears twitching and eyes warm and twinkling. He looked up at the same time as Ryder did, seeing it was dark but not really minding as he was a werewolf, not a human. He saw the moon and felt the urge to howl at it...He didn’t however, reining himself in.

He tilted his head a bit and twitched his nose, watching Ryder then hearing the sound as well...His hackles and back fur rose, now on red alert of whatever it was that made the sound. He caught the scent as well, shaking his head a few times and lashing his tail a bit. He gave a low little growl...then glanced to Ryder as the red wolf moved to him.
