Lavenderpaw yawned widely as she woke up, shaking her small frame free of moss. She looked over at her mentor before stretching and checking on the herbs, seeing what they had in stock.

Sungaze's head popped up when he heard the rustle of movement. His eyes drifted across the cluttered looking den. He was simply checking to make sure nobody else had walked in that might be needing help. The tom's jaws parted with a yawn as he stood up and trotted over to see what his apprentice was getting up to.

[Kia_Bee]

"Oh, you're up." Lavenderpaw said, smiling a little before looking back at the piles. "We're going to need some more borage leaves, poppy seeds, and catmint."

[Weredog]

Sungaze tilted his head slightly in a questioning manner. "Are we? Guess we'll have to go find some more?" His words were phrased more-so as a question than as a statement. He just took her at her word instead of double checking himself. He found counting herbs to be rather tedious, especially when the den was as messy and unorganized as he usually left it.

[Kia_Bee]

"We can go now before the dew disappears." Lavenderpaw suggested, her tail twitching a little. She never understood her mentor but she never tried questioning it.

[Weredog]

"Yeah, okay." Sungaze agreed. He didn't mind collecting herbs. It gave him an excuse to leave camp for a while. He turned around and quickly trotted off to exit the den with the assumption that Lavenderpaw would follow without needing to be told to.

"W-Wait!" Lavenderpaw exclaimed as she ran after him. "Aren't we going to eat first?"
