Luci adored the night time as it didn't hurt his eyes as much as the day-time light did. He also seemed to be able to move easier in the night-time. He was a night-time man and his abilities worked best in the night as well. "I can agree with you. This building is quite quiet and quaint and I adore sitting here and just basking in it." He explained to him.

Evan nodded quietly to himself, glad to find that in Luci he seemed to have found some sort of kindred spirit who saw things the same way as him. "Got any other plans for the day?" He asks, not sure why he asks it but feels some urge to continue on the conversation, not quite wanting it to end yet.

Luci looked at Evan and shook his head. "I do not have any other plans for today until tonight when I go to work." He explained as he looked at him. "What about you? Got any other plans for the day?" He asked the other man. He desired to continue the conversation as well but perhaps in a less private place with less listening and eavesdropping ears.

"I have no work for the day," Evan said with a small shake of his head, "Hard to find work right now, so there's not a lot for me to do." He leaned back slightly in his chair with a slight sigh. It was true he'd struggled to find work recently, and though money wasn't an issue for him quite yet, he feared that if the weeks continued on like this, he'd start to find things more difficult. But the current season wasn't making it easy for his particular line of work.

Luci looked back at Evan. "Oh, why is it hard for you to find work?" Luci ask him as he looked at him. He placed his things into his bag and placed his attention onto Evan with full tenacity now. "If you don't mind me asking?" He replied quickly now. He did not want to offend Evan for his question and he would not be offended if the other one chose not to answer his question.

"Plant magic," Evan said with a small sigh, "Isn't the most desirable of services. Sure I can help out struggling farmers here and there, and florists pay a good enough wage for me to keep their shops looking fresh through the hottest months out of the year, but in the middle of winter there's not exactly much going on. I'm a freelance writer on the side as well but that isn't the easiest role ever. I just...take odd jobs here and there and hope I earn enough to see me through each month." He shrugged, and then startled a little, realising just how much of his life he'd poured out to a complete stranger. "Sorry," he added, "Don't mean to dump all my problems on you like that."

Luci nodded as he looked at Evan. Yes, Evan doing plant magic seemed to fit him quite well. He seemed to have the personality for it, from the limit amount of time that Luci has spent with him. "Ah yes, I am sure that Plant magic could have some great uses if those who required it though creatively." He responded as he watched the other man. He observed him now. "Have you thought to consult flower shops offering to help keep their bouquets well stocked and fresh? Or resteraunts offering to help keep fresh produce avaliable to them. I am sure places such as that will pay good money." He explained as he looked at him. He then realized that Evan might have not been looking for advice. "My apologizes if I overstepped, I just perhaps thought you would appreciate an outsider's insite." He explained to him.

Evan smiled his usual wonky little smile, grateful at least that for once someone wanted to offer him advice rather than looking down on him for his lack of impressive talent. "Thank you," he said, "That's good advice actually. Still, I'd love to have a more stable job one day, you know? One day I'd just love to do something for myself, run my own company or something, rather than just helping others. I do love the idea of having my own flower shop, actually, but I guess I never got around to it, I just... sorry, I'm rambling again." He shook his head a little, aware he had a terrible habit of over talking, and then shrugged slightly. "What about you, anyway?" He asked, "I'm sure you've got much more exciting stuff going on in your life."

Luci nodded as he looked at him. He was glad that Evan appreciated the advice. "It's no problem. Sometimes it helps to have an outside look on an issue you may be struggling with." He explained as he looked at him. "Yes, job stability is always something people in this town seem to be reaching with and parents often pray that their children are born with an ability which is useful for a lot of jobs which isn't always the case in some times" He explained now as he watched him. "Oh, I've got abilities as a necromancer." He explained as he looked at him. "I have the ability to use body and soul magic. I can revive people but it often comes with a large price-tag so people do not often desire to do so and they let dead people stay as such, the way they are to be." He spoke as he watched him. "I work as a mortician in this town as it's the best job suited to my abilities." He explained.
