Alejandro "Duality" Himura/Adrian-
" Aralynn has nothing to do with this!" he lashed out at Lucas. Aralynn really did have nothing to do with how he hid this information from Lucas. She was innocent, and he wouldn't let Lucas accuse Aralynn like that. Besides, what did he know about feelings, or about being human...or previously being human. After all, Lucas was a pureblood- he never lived like a human. Never experienced the feeling of adrenaline in dangerous situations ( minus vampire vs. vampire combat.). Never experienced the thrill and fear of knowing your life was ticking away with each second the clock sounded. For all he knew, the frivolous vampire had never even been in love- or even a somewhat long-term, romantic relationship. All he really knew of were the flings. Heck, he was toying with the emotions of the Emberelic princess like it was a game! " she has nothing to do with this..." he repeated, calmer, but with clenched fists and he kept his gaze locked on the ground. " I've known... I've known for a long, long time. Even before I met you, in fact. I simply...didn't want to tell anyone. Not like he would've let me anyways. I was afraid. At the time I met you I only knew his name...and it wasn't until afterwards. Years, afterwards, that I knew why he turned me. Then I was even more afraid to tell anyone...I didn't know who all he was connected too...or what would happen to me. I'm telling you now because it's about time you knew..." he forced himself to meet Lucas's scrutinizing gaze. " My sire. His name...his name was- Would you freaking shut up!" the second half of his words weren't directed at Lucas, but rather at the other soul, the fallen king Adrian, who was fighting ruthlessly to keep him from telling Lucas he was Al's sire. This battle of wills caused Al to lean against the wall, hunched over and his hands clutching his head. " Lucas..." he said through heaving breaths, eyes faintly glowing red. " His name was Adri-" the male got no chance to finish as he collapsed on the spot, motionless with closed eyes. Though it was barely a minute later that he stood up, eyes glowing red and fangs glistening in the moonlight. He stood with the confidence of a king, but the presence of a ruthless, scheming beast. " Well well well. So we meet again, old friend. " spoke Adrian.

" Says the woman on the ground in the corridor, fearful and skittish. You're never that way, Aralynn. It takes a lot to spook you... heck, you were even injured on top of it! But fine. If you so insist I will shut up."
However, she couldn't help but smirk as Aralynn spoke of the man she had been seen with. " a dear friend, huh? So you claim. You know what I think? I think he's your lover, and you're just trying to hide it from the elders!" she teased.
