Akira:
This way. Then that. The Labyrinth went on endlessly, no exit ever in view. " Come on now, lost little lamb. You can't run from me forever~" his words sounded as if they were echoing all around her, in every direction. She couldn't tell which way would lead to the exit, what to more labyrinth, and what to a dead end (quite literally). Her human eyes weren't suited for this either- humans weren't equipped with night vision. Plus her limbs were weary all over again, and she ached from being thrown off the horse.
Upon her next turn, she had thought perhaps she was nearing an exit- only to find she had reached a dead-end instead, just shy of an exit. Frantically the princess hunted for some means of climbing up and over the wall, even when any glimmer of hope of escape was dashed. " Sheesh- you gave me quite the run for my money There. For a moment I had thought you might actually escape" The vampire soldier had laughed as he spoke, and it was a charming laugh. She could see now how she had so easily been fooled. Vampires...they were just as alluring as they were dangerous, like a perfectly blossomed rose with poison-tipped thorns. It wasn't hard to be lured in by their charms if one never saw the fangs and claws until it was far too late. Woo~ I think I nearly shed a tear! But alas, as much as I've been enjoying our little game of cat and mouse, little lamb, I'm famished. Really, you shouldn't look so scared. Tis is not better with me, who may let you live, then one of the savage newly-turned?" She wasn't paying him much attention- she had found a foothold in the wall, attempting to scale it.
Then a brick slipped loose, and she fell- right into the waiting arms of the vampire. She wished she would've hit the ground instead.
" There we go- much better, yes? I promise I'll do my best to be gentle, and keep you comfortable...just stay still, ok? Wouldn't want to go and accidentally rip out that pretty little throat of yours." Though he didn't plan to pierce her skin with his fangs just yet- that was always the most thrilling part of the hunt. No, he would relish this first. Therefore, he sat down, one arm staying firmly around her as she tried to break his hold. Leaning his back then against the wall, he took out his personal blade, putting a small cut on the forearm of the girl, a placed his mouth against it. He savored the taste of her blood, letting his fangs graze her skin, careful not to pierce it, however, as she writhed.
