Aralynn took on a thoughtful expression on her face, “Hmm something with beef and I think some sort of sweet bread or roll for dessert if I remember my tastes. Not picky. I’ve learned quickly to trust your judgement and extensive knowledge of cooking enough. Can I help get what you need though?”

"Then you might actually be able to keep up. Your speed is more equal to ours on horseback so, as long as we stay on horseback, you have a lesser chance of falling behind. And then I don't have to carry you.", said Rigel heading off leading the way away from the barn and towards the Renier's woods.

The words surrounding the Renier Estate, thus the largest and their most direct portion of woods, was densely thick. The horse's hooves clod along the dirt, only not sinking because of generations-worn paths. Who knew how many of the family had ridden their animals along it since the family's start? The human with Rigel wouldn't know. "The paths haven't been bad so far, staff must have been out earlier. It wasn't either of us or Father."

The dark haired boy gently hummed a bit, as he shook his head a couple of times. He then nodded to the other male. It probably wasn't seen by Rigel, yet he did it anyway. He smiled down at the gelding a moment, then looked back up. He muttered "Who says I'd mind...?" It might be too quiet to be heard, though.

He then hummed sand continues to urge the spotted animal on. He smiled when the gelding responded nicely to his demands. Not that he was really demanding at all. He nodded as he said "Well, sir Lucas said your father is away., so...I wouldn't suspect it was him."

" Of course you may help. Could you please knead the bread for the rolls while I start on the main course?"

Reaching the kitchens, Aralynn stopped a moment to release herself from her companion’s side and look around the room. She had never been back here before. It was quite fascinating to be here and able to explore the realm of the cooks now. “Okay. The cook was always calm and kind...there were whispers around the staff that he was only that way because he beat the dough as though he was a night dealing with an intruder to the castle.”, Aralynn replied in agreement.

" Well, everyone has to relieve their fury somehow- lest those they care about are forced to reckon with the mightily forces of their wrath, even if unintentionally." he smiled as he began locating the vegetables, taking a moment to set the materials for the rolls before Aralynn.

“They are.”, said Rigel, “The less of the family around the better....so the Cockroach said. Hell, according to his plans, even I was not supposed to be here. I am only here to keep an eye on him, make sure his fabulous brain does not get him in trouble. I still need to keep out of sight, so do not expect me to come out when the princess is around. The staff maintains our grounds.”

The dark haired boy gently hummed a bit, as he continued to guide the gelding. He hummed and nodded, then made a small sound. "Well, I for one am not complaining you're here, not really." He then fell silent once more, as they continued on, seeming to contemplate.

Eyeing the loose separate ingredients which had been set before her, Aralynn just eyed them for a moment before finally deciding to make her move. She had never made bread before herself but understood the basic idea and hoped that it would be enough. Besides, people made this every day right? How hard could it really be if that was the case?

After he himself had gathered the ingredients he needed, he moved to check on Aralynn. " Ms. Aralynn, it seems you have forgotten to flour the surface you are using to knead the dough on. See how the dough is ceaselessly sticking to the counter? The flour prevents it from doing so, so long as you continue to add a little bit whenever the dough begins to stick."
