Karkat put his phone down and rolled over in bed, burying his face in the pillows. He closed his eyes slowly, not falling asleep as he was too caught up in his thoughts.

Dave leaned back against his pillow, chatting with Rose virtually as he mumbled to himself.

Karkat could hear Dave mumbling, and smiled to himself at the sound. He sat up slowly, and wandered over to turn his bedroom light off, before going back to his bed.

Eventually, Dave put his phone on the table next to him, and turned off the light. He easily fell asleep, his body slowly rising and falling.

Karkat heard the sound of Dave's light turning off. He lay there for a few more minutes, until eventually he fell asleep.

Dave slowly opened his bright red eyes, sitting upright and stretching his arms.

Karkat was still asleep, curled up in bed and mumbling to himself as he dreamed.

Dave slowly opened his door, wondering if Karkat was awake yet. He made his way down the stairs silently.

Karkat sat up suddenly in a panic, heart racing, the last few images from his dream fading away. He took a deep breath, and then slowly got out of his bed. He pulled on a new outfit, and then slowly headed downstairs, still caught up in the memories of his nightmare.

Dave sat on the sofa carefully, crossing one leg over another. He scratched at his neck as he got his phone out from his pocket.
