"Yeah, it's a lot," Karkat agreed. "The human world is so strange."

"Mhm. Everything is always so stressful and I never catch a break." He didn't realize how much he was just hating on his home world.

"Yeah, I get why you're so stressed over it now," Karkat said, "You still okay to go get food somewhere?"

"Of course!" Dave replied, obviously a little less negative.

"Okay," Karkat said with a smile, "So how do we choose like a place to eat that won't be too stressful."

"I'm leaving the decision up to you," Dave reminded calmly.

"Okay, wow that's a lot of pressure," Karkat mumbled. He looked around, feeling a little overwhelmed by everything. "You know that stuff we had with Rose? Noodles. Those were good. Is there anywhere that sells stuff like that?"

"I think so," Dave muttered, feeling even worse about putting stress on Karkat.

Karkat reached over slowly and put a hand on Dave's arm.
"It's okay," he said quietly, "Let's go find somewhere." They started to walk along the road, Karkat looking out for a good place to eat.

Dave smiled slightly to himself. "Alrighty," he whispered, trying to keep quiet.
