"You don't think they'll try to come back for him?" Yvette asked, glancing down when Rhys stirred slightly and slurred Jack's name incoherently.

[Agent Maine(Meta)]

"They might, but i'll be ready for them, and so will my personal security team and my girl." He stated instantly.

[mandalorian]

"Good. Damn idiot going and getting kidnapped. Nearly gave me a heart attack." Yvette huffed, stepping away afterwards and watching as Rhys lolled his head to the side as if looking for Jack.

Jack absentmindedly lifted a hand and pets rhys head. "Tell me about it i was absolutely furious." Jack retorted.

"Did you take it out on him?" Yvette questioned, crossing her arms and narrowing her eyes at Jack.

Jack is on her instantly. Out of the chair and advancing with a very angry, very predatory look in his eyes and a slight bare of his own teeth. "WHAT did you just accuse me of?" He snarled.

Yvette barely flinches, and holds her ground, instead puffing out her chest. "I didn't accuse you of anything. I asked if you took it out on him." She stated, shoving a finger in Jack's chest. "Because last time I checked, you don't exactly have the best reputation with holding your temper. And this is exactly why. You think Rhys will like you when you act like this?"

Jack growls, fingers curling into fists before lifting a hand to roughly jab her chest. "I would never. I went down there personally to save him. Made sure he got the freakin best care possible. Why the hell would i hurt a single hair on princesses head? I would never play that kind of game." He snarled.

"And that's all you have to say." Yvette retorted. "Instead of immediately jumping to shouting and throwing a temper tantrum."

"Maybe instead of asking if i hurt rhys, you should of taken stock of the situation and the information i told you. I wouldn't of saved him or brought him back to helios or gotten him help if i wanted to hurt him." Jack growled before roughly shoving past yvette to step out of the room, slamming the door shut behind him.
