They get them both onto the shuttle for transportation. When they finally return to Helios, a few employees come out to take Rhys and wheel him back off to medical.

jack doesn't hesitate in following, demanding security be posted at the doors and no one can get in without his authorization.

They immediately do as told, getting everything set up for Jack. An hour or so later, once everything is set up, they step over to him nervously. "He's awake, sir."

Jack immediately demands to be taken to rhys before following the medical staff to rhys room instantly.

Rhys is barely awake, blinking tiredly and looking around the room. He visibly flinches when the door opens and Jack steps through. Half his face is bandaged to cover up his missing eye and cover up the bleeding port, and he twitches his fingers nervously upon seeing Jack before finally speaking. "I didn't tell them anything." He croaked, voice hoarse as if he had lost it.

Jack approaches easily. "Did you know who it was? Did they tell you who informed them or anything?" He questioned instantly.

Rhys is about to shake his head, but it strains too much so he doesn't. "They didn't say who, and I didn't know who they were." He replied, shifting nervously.

Jack makes a faint noise of anger and upsetness but settles down and brushes his fingers through rhys hair, then kisses the top of his head.

"I'm sorry." Rhys mumbled, looking down at his laps with a frown.

[Agent Maine(Meta)]

"You don't need to apologize rhysie princess. Cybernetics is gunna give me hell over that new mechanical thought." Jack mumbled, tone alittle more playful.
