(K! I'll PM you soon) Rain was still and silent for another moment, then soon slowly laid down in her usual spot.

Jax padded toward Rain, sensing something was wrong.
"Is there something wrong dear?" he asked quietly as he lowered his head, and pinned his ears back.

"...That wolf, I don't trust her one bit" Rain whispered, looking over towards the new wolf, then back at Jax.

Jax laughed out loud a bit. "Sounds to me like someones jealous" he said with a slight smirk on his face and raised eyebrows.

Rain ignored that comment, and replied, "It's not that Jax, she just seems so... Oh, nevermind, I'm probably just imagining things..."

" You don't have anything to worry about my dear. But I can't just let her alone, while she needs help. " he replied. "Please try to understand." he said, now laying in front of her while wagging his tail ever so slightly in efforts to try to get her to smile. Looking up at her from the ground which his head lay on , inbetween his two giant paws. His ears lay flat back against his head.

Rain pulled herself closer to him with her front paws, and snuggled close, burrying her face in his thick fur lovingly. "I understand" She whispered. "Just be careful"

Jax fell asleep fast. The night became very cool. Winter was fast approaching and the wolves were all getting their "winter" fur now. Most of the birds were long gone and the night air was quiet and chilling.

It took only a moment longer for Rain to fall asleep, her magnificent winter pelt was growing in quickly. A cold breeze blew into the den, and she snuggled closer to Jax.

The morning quickly came and the sunlight lit Jax's pelt with a magnificent glow. Jax slowly opened one eye and looked around. He noticed Rain's muzzle next to him and that made him smile. He opened the other eye in an effort to see his surroundings fully. He yawned largely, his white teeth glistening in the morning sun. A cold, crisp wind blew strongly which made his eyes water. Although his pelt was long and fluffy, he was still a bit cold. He turned his head and looked around the den. He noticed that the spot where the new she-fox was, was empty. Did she leave by herself? He thought to himself.
