Alex whimpered subtly, unsure of what to do with herself. Glancing around the room, she saw nothing to tidy up.

[Boomer]

Alessa returned to the dining room, offering her paw to Alex. "You really need to rest." she said, "I'll help you back to our room." She really did care about Alex and Martha greatly; they showed her kindness, so she returned the kindness.

Alex smiled sheepishly, taking Alessa's paw.
"Thank you..." She uttered, limping toward the hall.
Martha joined them.
"I set up two beds in my room if you guys want to still room with me."

[Boomer]

"I can't speak for Alex, but I'd like to stay in your room." said Alessa softly. She never wanted to feel like she was in danger again. It just brought back too many painful memories. She looked up at Alex. "We'll be safe in here." she said.

Alex nodded.
"I-I'd like to as well..." She followed Martha.

[Boomer]

Alessa nodded as they finally got to the room. She had Alex sit down to rest her leg. Alessa watched as the stars began to shine. She flicked her tail some and sighed softly, hoping her family back home was doing okay.

Alex gladly sat and relaxed herself on her designated bed.
"Phew..."

Martha straightened her up a bit; putting clothing and and such.
"Sorry for a mess..."

[Boomer]

"It's alright." hummed Alessa, turning to the nurse. She went to her bed and laid down. She was a little tired, but wasn't ready to sleep yet. "Well, thanks for having us stay in here." she said.

Martha grinned.
"Oh, no worries. This always always felt a bit empty without another person in here."

[Boomer]

Alessa nodded in agreement. She was warm and comfortable, her belly full now. She yawned and curled up under her quilt. "Thank you for dinner too..." she mumbled.
