The door peeked open a crack and a large green and brown eye peered at the pup. A sigh escaped the lizard, allowing the door to squeak on its hinges as Martha opened the door.
"Oh, hello dear! How may I help you?"

[Boomer]

Alessa wagged her tail as Martha answered the door. "Alex and I were going to the gardens, and I was wondering if you'd like to join us?" she asked. She understood if Martha was busy or didn't feel like it.

"Hm, oh sure. Then Kit couldn't have a chance to yell at you." Martha winked and walked out the door with Alessa and Alex.

[Boomer]

Alessa's face seemed to light up a little. "You're really funny." she said, her smile growing. She walked with the women, feeling safe and secure with them.

Martha seemed delighted by Alessa's comment and grinned.
Once reaching the courtyard door, Alex pushed it open to reveal an acre of lush gardens, forest patches, murals, and exotic animals.
"Ta-da!"

[Boomer]

Alessa was a bit surprised by how much the garden had to offer. She really wished she had her sketchbook, as she felt the need to draw. "Oh... I wish I still had my sketchbook." she murmured softly, "There's so much inspiration here."

Martha glanced to Alessa.
"You like to draw?" She reached into her robe and revealed a small sketchbook and pencil. "I never leave without one." She smiled and passed the items into Alessa's paws.

[Boomer]

Alessa bounced up and down as she took the sketchbook and pencil. "Thank you!" she said gratefully, hugging Martha. The pup looked around the garden before she sketched a part of it. Her art was very detailed for her age; that's what she spent most of her time doing, so she was rather gifted.

Alex admired the strokes of the pencil and watched Alessa in interest.
Martha wondered off a few feet to gaze at a scarlet macaw which had been imported from Brazil.

Alessa cancelled out everything as she drew. Her focus was her art. Once she finished the sketch, she looked to Alex. "Is it 1:50 yet?" she asked. The pup wanted to finish her drawing, but she didn't have her pencils for lining, coloring, and shading. The sketch would have to do for now.
