"Hm, it'd be a small bun, but it could work." Alex responded.

[Boomer]

"Okay." she hummed, "It'll be easier if it's shorter." Alessa was trying to get used to having shorter hair. She petted Scarlett and slightly smiled. "Don't worry, your fur is fine." she murmured.

Alex nodded and trimmed her hair to the desired height. She then grabbed a few ponytails and put her hair up in an elegant bun.

[Boomer]

Alessa liked her new haircut; it didn't feel so heavy on her shoulders. She slowly shut her eyes, getting comfortable as Alex played with her hair. The pup's head was slightly lowered.

One the hairstyle was complete, Alex sighed contentedly.
"How does it look?"

[Boomer]

Alessa had drifted into a light sleep. She woke up as Alex spoke to her. She looked at her reflection and nodded. "I love it." she said softly, "Thank you." Alessa got up and hugged Alex.

Alex was slightly startled, but hugged Alessa back.
"You're quite welcome." She glanced to a clock, which read 1:20 PM. "Why don't we wonder around the gardens for a bit?"

[Boomer]

Alessa looked out the window and dipped her head. "That sounds nice..." she murmured, "Maybe we can come back at 1:50 so we can be early?" She was trying to at least have Kit tolerate her. She just didn't want to be hit and yelled at anymore. Alessa did much better with kindness and patience; she grew attached to people rather quickly if they showed her kindness from the get-go.

Alex bowed to Alessa and opened the door.
"Okay, it's just this way." She padded down the hall, aiming for the lush courtyard.

[Boomer]

Alessa walked next to Alex, excited to see the gardens. Martha seemed to enjoy them as well, so that put the idea into Alessa's mind to ask Martha to join them. She stopped at Martha's room and knocked on the door.
