[Lemon Tea Rain]

Blu chuckled again, then meowed, "Well, she and you are welcome to come to me anytime, no matter how late or early." She purred. "Maybe I could make Scarlett a little eye mask so she can sleep while you carry her." While the two had been talking, Jax had entered the room and walked over to them.

[Boomer]

"Oh, y-you see, she doesn't blink." she said softly, "O-or close her eyes. She has to see everything so she helps protect me." Alessa pricked her ears as she heard Jax enter the room. She looked away from him, clinging onto Scarlett. Her mood seemed to shift a little.

[Lemon Tea Rain]

"Well, that's very kind of her." Blu meowed, before turning to Jax. "Hello your highness. Do you need something?"
"I came to collect Alessa. You don't seem to have cleaned her up much." He barked.
"Oh, she's going to bathe properly later. She's just had a little wash to keep her going."
"You couldn't have tried to brush her hair?"
"I don't want to push her, your highness." Blu meowed, glancing back at Alessa. Jax sighed, before replying, "Well, it's been decided that whenever I'm not around, you'll be the one to look after Alessa. You need to report to my dad so you can collect your uniform and make a couple of changes." Blu smiled when he mentioned her taking care of Alessa, but when the changed were mentioned, she began to look a little uncertain and nervous. "Changes, your highness?"
"You'll see when you get there."
The short cat looked down at her feet, up at Jax then back at Alessa before nodding. "Okay. Goodbye Alessa," she meowed before padding out of the room.

[Boomer]

Alessa felt herself shaking again as Jax came into the room. She avoided eye-contact at all costs. As Blu left, the girl watched her go, worry in her eyes. She didn't trust Jax to be around her. The girl trembled as she petted Scarlett; she didn't know what he wanted and that scared her.

"Now Alessa, we've decided that we really can't have you walking around in such clothes anymore. I'm going to take you shopping, with strict rules. You'll severely regret it if you break any of those rules. Do you understand?" Jax warned, waiting for her to respond before laying down the rules.

[Boomer]

Alessa continued to shake as Jax talked. It came to her mind that he'd treat her just like how Dahlia used to treat her if she did something bad. She didn't really want to go shopping; it was something she was never allowed to do, and with her being so scared, she didn't want to mess up in any certain way. Alessa also couldn't control her environment; there was no way she'd stop herself from having an episode if she saw or heard anything about fire. "M-may I... r-respectfully d-decline, going?" she asked, her voice growing quieter and quieter with each word.

"No. So, here are the rules: 1 Don't leave my side unless you've been sent into the dressing room. 2 Never address me by name, only as Father or Papa. If you don't want to say those, just don't address me at all. 3 Do not talk to anyone unless spoken to. 4 Try not to start crying or screaming while you're out there. It's off-putting and it draws attention. Lastly, 5, leave that scruffy toy here." Jax finished.

[Boomer]

Alessa hadn't planned on talking to Jax anyways; the first few rules were fine. Alessa then grew defensive, almost aggressive when he called Scarlett 'that scruffy toy'. That was the one thing Alessa would dare to challenge Dahlia about; she wouldn't leave Scarlett behind for anything or anyone. Dahlia had actually let Alessa win that battle, letting her take the toy anywhere. It kept her quiet. "I'm not leaving Scarlett." the girl stated, "If she doesn't go, then I don't go." She actually looked into his eyes, her eyes narrowed. Alessa was 100% serious.

[Lemon Tea Rain]

"What?" Jax scowled, this seemed like a waste of time for him. "Oh come on. It'll still be here when we get back." He reached out and grabbed the toy in an attempt to separate it from Alessa.

[Boomer]

Alessa put up an orb around herself and Scarlett, keeping Jax from taking the toy away. "First of all, she isn't an it." she snapped, "I don't go anywhere without her. She saved my life, and she's my best friend." Alessa allowed her eyes to glow brighter, signaling that she was preparing to use her power.
