Usbeorn doesn't look at baker like he usually would. He's practically fallen, he doesn't deserve it. But his hands are taken and he's soon pulled into a hold that makes him tense at first, but then relaxes, loosely putting his arms around the other. "God... You make me so weak. You insufferable jack ass." He mumbles in an entirely playful manner, a soft chuckle escaping him as he nuzzles baker's shoulder.

"You have no idea what you do to me. Don't even go there.” Baker quietly chuckles, raising a hand to tangle in the back of Usbeorn's hair and hold him close. "I love you, Usbeorn. More than anything, alright? And I'm here, and I'm here to stay. I don't plan on dying anytime soon."

"Mmm. Better not you ass. Wait until my coding finally fails before you decide to die again." Usbeorn mumbled with the faintest of chuckles, tightening his grasp on baker.

"We'll be immortal if I have any say in it.” Baker huffs, shifting to lean himself against the wall and still keep Usbeorn in his grasp and against himself. "Though that'd probably require a bit more testing."

"I'm already part pheonix." Usbeorn mumbled, but doesn't fight the position hange, even when omega joins them and sits beside the two.

"Yeah, so really, I'm the only one in danger here.” Baker replies, squeezing him gently and then adjusting their position when Omega plants himself between them, but doesn't mind.

Usbeorn mumbles something to do with the lab, no doubtedly stating he was fine since the lab was fine that stored all the songbird data. Usbeorn could update it and bring him back again.

Baker doesn't reply, going quiet for the time being until finally growing tired of the floor. He stands, pulling Usbeorn into the air and holding him bridal style. He takes a moment to adjust before finally stepping forward, bringing Usbeorn back to the couch and placing him down.

"I'm not gunna get use to how easily you can pick me up." Usbeorn states playfully but doesn't try to struggle, letting himself get put on the couch.

Baker snorts, shaking himself down afterwards before playfully gesturing to either arm. "Well, the mechanical helps. It also helped that before you showed up at Hyperion I was training every other day after work to gain some upper body strength." He shoots a playful finger gun. "I just don't go hand-to-hand very much. Or use my baton often anymore."
