Omega grunts softly, quick to trot over then sit next to Baker, watching as Usbeorn started awakening pretty quickly, grumbling softly first before blinking his eyes open, then sitting up a bit more quickly. "Christ, Christ, i'm up, i'm awake." He mumbled, bringing a hand up to press the heel of it against his forehead, close to his temple.

"You planning on passing out every single time you don’t get a dose of that stuff?" Baker questions instantly, leaning back and looking down at Usbeorn with crossed arms. He’s definitely not amused.

Usbeorn makes a noise, crossing his arms at his chest a bit defensively. "Its a small side effect. Nothing to terrible.... Christ.... Did you... Did you dose me? How much did you give me?" He asked, looking at the fresh mark and rubbed it greatly before standing up so to move around the sofa.

"Oh, so you just had the wonderful idea of bringing me back to life just so I could care for you?" Baker snaps, maybe a bit more aggressively than he should’ve, not answering Usbeorn’s question. He instead moves to follow him, throwing out his hands. “Christ, were you even going to tell me you’re practically addicted to the stuff?”

"I'm not addicted, i don't need it." Usbeorn stated instantly, throwing his hands out slightly. "I planned on stopping the intake of it the moment you were back!" He answered, feathers fluffing out a bit.

"You really expect me to believe that crap? You wouldn’t wake up until I gave it to you!" Baker nearly shouts, gesturing to the syringe. “You and I both know that ‘not functioning until you get another dose’ isn’t a freaking symptom. That’s probably why you were so tired in the meeting earlier, isn’t it?”

"Its RIX from eden two. Its pretty much used to keep you awake! Of course im going to be tired without it, its just the body readjusting. I'd be fine! If anything i'd burn it out of my system completely the next time the body gets reduced to ashes and i revive." He answered, flaring out his wings a bit now, even as his breathing sputters a bit with the threats of a coughing fit.

"You’re going to go through withdrawals." Baker hisses, lowering his voice when he realizes Usbeorn is about to have a fit. “And I’m so tired of being lied to. Tell me the truth. You’re depending on this. That’s addiction.”

"I don't need it anymore! I needed it to work on songbird, yes. But i don't need it anymore because you're here. I don't have to worry that this is all a dream i'm going to wake up from and i'm just going to wake up infront of the pods again to three more failed attempts that barely made it pas development. I don't have to worry that the moment you use your phase that you'll suddenly liquify practically! Because you're here. You're used your phase and everything and i don't have to keep doing this anymore." Usboern's shouting loses its volume and he's soon reduced to a hysterics before he finally leans against the wall behind him and collapses completely.

Baker stares, watching as Usbeorn crumbles, and moves over to kneel in front of his partner with a small frown. "Usbeorn,” He whispers, taking his hands and squeezing gently, "I didn't... I didn't realize. I had no idea." Great, now he feels like a complete ass. But he probably is one. He tugs Usbeorn forward, wrapping his arms around him, and nuzzles into his hair. "I'm here. I'm here, baby. It's okay."
