The Line We Made 1x1

Amber looked a little conflicted. "I don't sleep well with a lot of noise though...It would be too loud. I know you just want to protect me, but he can't get me anymore. You guys have him right? I should be safe..." She said. She was pretending that she was trying to convince herself she was safe. It made her seem more real. "I just don't know officer Jaxon...Why don't you think I should stay here?" She asked.

Jaxon looked at her, frowning, she seemed scared of being alone before, now she was wanting to be alone, "It would make me feel better if you came with me back to the station." he said as he looked at her, it wasn't a lie, but it wasn't for the reason she probably thought, all these holes, it was making him uneasy.

Amber looked at him and nodded a little. "Alright. I will be right back." She said and went up to her room and changed clothes before she grabbed her favorite blanket and pillow. She walked downstairs and walked over to him again. She put on shoes. "Okay. We can go now." She said. She walked out and headed to the station.

Jaxon nodded and headed out with her, he kept an eye on her as they headed to the station, when they reached it, he opened th door for her, hoping his uneasy feeling didn't mean anything.

"Thanks." She said and went inside. She waited for him to take her to the cot. She could rest. She needed to rest. She walked to the cot when they got there. She laid down with her pillow and blanket. She looked up at him. Luke looked at the two and he walked over to Jaxon. "Hey. What's going on?"He asked.

Jaxon nodded, "Get some rest." he said with a soft smile, he looked at Luke, "I just wanted to keep an eye on her.' he said, "We will let you sleep Amber." he said, leading Luke off.

Luke smiled a little. “Okay.” He said. “Is something going on?” He asked and walked back over to his desk so they were out of earshot of her.

Jaxon followed, "Something is off, her story is full of holes, her scent is all over the evidence and it bothers me." he said softly as he looked at Luke.

Luke looked at him. “That is really weird. She should stay here till we get all this figured out.” He said. He wasn’t sure what to do about it all.

"That's what I was thinking, that is why I brought here here." Jaxon said softly as he looked at Luke, "Thank you, for putting up with all this."
