Jaxon frowned as he looked at her, "He couldn't have tossed it to his wife, the only scents on it were yours and his." he said as he looked at her with a frown, "There wasn't even the faintest scent of someone else." he told her softly, "The shell casing had the faint smell of you as well, although heat burns off most of that." he said, her story didn't add up, it hadn't in the notes, but he had just put that to her being in shock, but she had repeated it almost word for word.
