He laughed. “Well, it really wasn’t very comfortable but I didn’t want to hurt you or be in the way.” He said and stretched out a bit. “Man I am getting old.” He said putting a hand on his back. “After they do a final check, they will let us check you out to go home.” He said.

“Good. Thank you for asking.” She said with a smile and finished breakfast. She made oatmeal and bacon with eggs. She put it on the table. “Breakfast is ready.” She said with a smile.

"You are not old." Jaxon said with a soft chuckle as he looked over at his fiance with a smile, "I am glad to be going home." he said softly, "Relax for a day or two before back to work." he said softly.

He noded and sat down, "Thank you." he said, looking over as Sam joined them happily, "It smells yummy!" the pup said excitedly.

“Are you sure you don’t need more time?” He asked him. He wanted to make sure that he was okay before he started to work again. The nurse came in and checked on him before giving him paperwork to sign.

Charlotte smiled. “No problem.” She said and sat down. She helped her daughter get food. “I am glad you think so Sam.” She said to him.

"Yeah I am sure, I just want to go home." he said as he gave Luke a soft smile, he didn't want to push his luck, he signed the papers and got up carefully, "I am ready." he told Luke warmly.


Sam smiled happily and began to eat, smiling excitedly as he dd so.

Luke smiled and nodded. “Okay. As long as you are sure. But I think you should wait more than a couple days before going back to work. You need to rest. This was a bad one this time.” He said quietly to him. He walked out. “Want me to call a cab or do you wanna walk?” He asked holding his hand as he walked.

Charlotte and Julia ate and then Charlotte started to clean up. She didn’t mind helping out and she enjoyed it a lot. She relaxed.

Jaxon shook his head, "I am a wolf, I heal fast." he reminded him with a soft smile, "Oh walk, for sure, if you are up to it?" he asked softly. He didn't want to be trapped in a car, he just wanted to walk, get some fresh air. He still wasn't 100 percent, but he would be okay, he just shouldn't shift for another few days.

“I know you do but I still worry about you. Especially after this time.” He said. “I thought I was going to lose you.” He said and held his hand as he walked. He kept pace with him not wanting him to walk faster than he could. He watched his fiancé.

Charlotte finished cleaning up and then looked at Morgan and smiled a little.

Jaxon looked at him and nuzzled his cheek, "I am okay." he said softly, "It will take more then that to take me down." he reassured him with a gentle smile and took his hand, he headed out with him, inhaling the fresh air, he smiled, "Fresh air, just what I needed." he said with a grin.

Morgan nodded and smiled at her softly, "Thank you for breakfast." he told her softly.

He smiled at him. “As long as you are sure. But try not to scare me like that again. Okay?” He said to him with a smile. He walked with him and headed home. He had texted his mom and she said she would give him some time to rest at home and then bring Tess. He relaxed with his fiancé. He walked home. “How about we sit on the back porch for a while?” He asked him.

“No problem. I am glad you liked it. Planning on working on the house today?” She asked him.

Jaxon looked at him, "I will try my best." he said with a soft smile, he nodded and headed to the back yard with him and sat on the porch with a content sigh. "I love you Luke, and I am sorry I scared you." he said softly, "But you got him, right?" he asked as he looked at him, "No one else was hurt?"

Morgan nodded, "Yeah, I try to get as much done as I can on the weekends." he told her soflty.
