Julia looked up at him. “A little.” She said and sat up. She watched him not sure what to say. She wasn’t really hungry.

Jaxon sat beside her and looked at his hands, "I know it is scary, being a wolf sometimes." he told her softly, "But, you are safe here, and you will be protected here. You will always have me to support you." he told her gently. "My family didn't want me anymore either Julia, and it's scary and hurtful, but I found Luke, and he loves me and now I have a new family." he said softly. "You will always have me here for you." he said softly.

“Tess loves you too.” Julia said quietly. She looked at him. “I just don’t want mom to leave me like dad...” she said to him. She hugged him tightly just wanting to be with him for a moment. She was glad that he cared even though he did not have to. She stood up. “We should go eat.” She said to him.

Jaxon hugged her back tightly, he rubbed her back, "I know sweetheart, and I am so sorry you went through that." he said softly as he looked down at her and kissed the top of her head. He nodded, carrying her downstairs, "We are having pancakes and fruit." he said with a soft smile, "I am sure that we can find some whipped cream too." he said softly, she knew she might not be hungry, but she needed to eat still.

“Okay.” She said holding onto him as he took her upstairs. She looked at Tess. Tess ran to her dada. She was covered in flour. “I spilled it.” She said to him. Luke had some flour in his hair too. He laughed a little. Julia smiled a little at her. She thought it was funny.

Jaxon chuckled softly, "So I can see." he smiled as he looked at her, "It seems daddy managed to spill some too." he chuckled as he watched them, "I guess we will have to mix you in the bowl." he teased her, setting down Julia, "What do you think JUlia?" he asked with a smile.

“No. He didn’t spill any. I got it on daddy too!” Tess said with a laugh. She was enjoying this. “I don’t wanna go in the bowl!” She said laughing. She ran off. Julia nodded. “They need to go in.” She said with a smile. Luke laughed and worked on cooking food.

Jaxon chuckled and grabbed Tess, he picked her up, "Nope, you have to go into the bowl." he teased as he looked at Tess, carrying her into the kitchen. "You and dad have to go in the bowl, we need the flour." he smiled as he looked at her.

Tess squirmed and squealed happily. “No! I don’t wanna go in the bowl!” She said. She loved playing with her dada. She was so happy. Luke chuckled and cooked. He kissed his fiancé’s cheek. “She has more flour. She will be the best bet for the bowl.” He said with a laugh. He cut up some fruit.

"Yes, she will." he chuckled as he looked at her and kissed her cheek, "Now, we just need to find a big enough bowl, eh Julia?" he asked with a smile at the other girl.
